Associate Programs Newsletter #404
Allan’s recovering from Joanna’s big birthday bash so I’ve taken the opportunity to grab the reins and chime in on his latest series “How to make an extra $33,000 a year”.
Happy birthday Joanna!
I won’t let the cat out of the bag about what birthday milestone she hit, but was a big one. :)

James Yii’s Shortcut
============================
Like many of you, I’ve been following Allan’s series Tiny steps to success – How to make an extra $33,000 a year with interest.
It really is great stuff.
Especially if you’re struggling to grow your online business into something you can be proud of.
I’m hoping that you’ve picked up on the important sub-text in part 1.
That is, the big secret to making money online is not really about the business opportunity. There is so much opportunity for making money online that it’s almost crippling.
Nope… it’s fundamentally about taking action with bulldog determination and focus.
Grabbing a hold of what you’re chasing and not letting go until it succeeds.
In my experience, there is always more you can do to keep driving traffic and improving your conversion rates until you’re making the sort of money you’re chasing.
I received an email the other day from a guy called James Yii who has just released an interesting product called “The Shortcut”.
It’s interesting, because this is not a product about yet another business opportunity.
“The Shortcut” actually goes deeper than this and tackles the fundamental issues that cause failure to succeed online.
It’s one of the first products I’ve seen that really calls it as it is. It gives you the mindset, as well as the practical steps to turn failure into success no matter what you’re doing online.
It shows how he has managed to deflect the noise and follow the 80/20 rule, ensuring that everything he does is working to propel his business forward, not constantly blind siding himself with yet another distraction.
I reckon it’s just the wake up call that all of us need as we start this new year filled with goals and dreams.
I’m sure for many of us, it will be the catalyst for doing big things this year.
Here’s the cool thing about James Yii and why you should listen to him. I know from experience that he actually practices what he preaches.
We’ve got some of the biggest names in the internet marketing world on our books for our SpeedPPC pay per click marketing product.
The roster really does read like a “who’s who” list of “gurus”.
The interesting thing is, arguably our “best” affiliate isn’t a big name. It’s James Yii.
To be honest, he’s never made much of a splash in terms of big numbers in a single month.
However, due to his persistence and diligence we’ve paid him more than any other affiliate on our books.
In fact, in the past 12 months, we’ve paid him the equivalent of a full-time staff member month after month.
Now I’m sure he’s only putting in an hour or two a week, but over time he has continued to ramp up sales to this full-time income just from our affiliate program alone.
I’m assuming that he’s replicating this many times over with other affiliate programs.
Through persistence and taking action in small simple steps, he has grown himself a good sized business.
It’s an inspiring example of how the small incremental growth that Allan talks about really does work.
If you’re struggling and need some encouragement with a realistic step-by-step plan of attack, check out what James Yii has to say in “The Shortcut”.
No, it’s not going to show you yet another way to make money online.
However, what it will do is show you why you AREN’T making good money online and more importantly, what you need to do to reverse that!

Thought for today: Persistence

“Success is almost totally dependent upon drive and persistence. The extra energy required to make another effort or try another approach is the secret of winning.” – Denis Waitley.
