Associate Programs Newsletter #530
Perhaps you’ve seen the Forbes magazine article on Sara Blakely, a 41-year-old billionaire.
In 1998, she was selling fax machines.
Today, without spending a cent on advertising or getting venture capital, she owns 100% of a company that’s worth a billion dollars and has zero debt.
It’s a remarkable story about a very determined woman.
Here’s something the Forbes article doesn’t tell you…
While it says she originally wanted to be a lawyer, and twice scored abysmally when she took the exam for law school admission, it doesn’t tell you WHY she failed.
In another interview, for Weekend Australian Magazine, Sara explains why she failed:
“…I can’t concentrate for long periods of time, so test-taking is extremely difficult for me. If I had to guess, I’m one of those kids that was undiagnosed in something. ADD (attention deficit disorder) maybe.
“I had a very hard time reading and comprehending.”
And yet she went on to become spectacularly rich, owning homes in Atlanta, Connecticut, La Jolla and Manhattan, and giving away millions.
Here’s the Forbes article. Be inspired.

Add a revenue stream to your blog
===========================
If you own a WordPress blog, here’s a way to add a new revenue stream…
Using the Datafeedr plugin, you can incorporate a webstore into your blog.
You’ll find it surprisingly easier than you expect, even for a non-techie. I’ve done it, so it can’t be hard. :)
Let’s say you blog about gifts, toys, pets, perfumes, posters, T-shirts, tablets, tennis, or just about anything else imaginable, you can add a related store to your blog.
As you’d expect, popular topics like gifts, toys and healthy living are covered, but you can also have a bonsai store or even a drafting tables store.
In fact, you can now choose from 9,993 merchants and a whopping 183 million products.
You can customize your pages in all sorts of different ways, mixing and matching, adding your own personalization, rewriting categories and descriptions etc. and adding modules and your own content to make your store truly unique.
In 2008, I reviewed the Datafeedr service…
https://www.associateprograms.com/articles/datafeedr-review.html
Datafeedr was at that time a brand new service for affiliates. Now – 4 years later – Datafeedr has grown into one of the leading datafeed integrator services for WordPress.
The Datafeedr service has also been rebuilt from scratch to allow the owners – Eric Busch and Stefan Everaet – to add more powerful features.
I recently spoke with Eric and Stefan and they agreed to offer Associate Programs Newsletter subscribers a 7-day free trial.
You won’t find this offer on the Datafeedr public website. This is currently an exclusive offer for this newsletter only.
If you want to try out Datafeedr just visit the page below…

If you’re new to Datafeedr, start by watching the main video.
Eric and Stefan have also made available a recording of a webinar they did with one of their successful Datafeedr members, Michael Kane, who earns thousands of dollars a month from his blogs. If you’re in a hurry, see the transcript. Michael does things differently from most Datafeedr users so its worth checking out what he does.
Also watch some of the other video tutorials to see what is possible with Datafeedr.
If you like what you see and would like to sign up for the free trial just click the big red “Try It Now” button…

Did you make good sales during the Christmas rush last year? You might want to think about creating some new revenue streams in time for this year’s holiday season. Datafeedr can help you do that.
