1. One thing rich marketers have in common
==========================================
Here’s something to think about…
Picture ANY rich online marketer. Pause now and picture someone you’ve read about. I don’t care who it is.
I don’t care if it’s John Reese, Mike Filsaime, Ken Evoy, Marlon Sanders…
Just picture someone. Any rich marketer will do.
What’s the one thing rich online marketers have in common?
They sell their own products. Perhaps once in every thousand you’ll manage to find an exception to this rule.
Now try this…
Picture ANY online marketer who has a huge email list – a very valuable asset.
Once again, what do these marketers have in common? Yep, they have their own products.
If you don’t have your own product, perhaps it’s time to take this as a clue.
If you’ve learned the basics as an affiliate, maybe it’s time to move your business up a notch by creating your own product.
There are pros and cons.
As a pure affiliate, you have remarkable freedom. You can choose from tens of thousands of affiliate programs and millions of products. You can easily dump something that doesn’t work and try something else.
When you’re selling your own products, you don’t have the same flexibility.
However, if you’re drawing up a list of the advantages and disadvantages, I reckon there’s one factor that’s so important it deserves 10 points. That’s leverage.
When you’re selling your own product, you can get tremendous leverage by having dozens, hundreds or maybe thousands of affiliates promoting your product for you.
They don’t just promote your product. Chances are, they’ll also say wonderful things about you, while generating sales for you. They drive traffic to your site, and they help you build your very valuable email list.
Don’t misunderstand me. I’m NOT saying that you absolutely must have your own product. After all, I was purely an affiliate for the 10 years before we launched our product in 2007. It can be a very good way to earn a living.
However, if you want to do REALLY well online, it makes sense to get your own products and have a whole bunch of affiliates promoting them for you.
Here’s a really good place to start…

2. The “Do this, then do this” way
==================================
One of the experts at creating his own products is zany marketer Marlon Sanders. He’s created 40 or 50 products. After a bit of a rough start many years ago with the odd product that didn’t sell, he now has a very polished product creation system.
He’s REALLY good at this stuff.
To simplify product creation for you, Marlon has created a tool he calls the Info-Product Dashboard, which takes you step-by-step through the whole process. It’s a “Do this, then do this” system.
One by one, you click on the big red buttons and spend 20 to 30 minutes on each step. Almost every step in the process can be completed in that time. (Some will take longer, especially if you’re a perfectionist.)
After six weeks of following Marlon’s instructions, you have your own product and are all set up ready to start selling.
That’s right – it takes you six weeks. This isn’t push-button magic. He’s not trying to con you into thinking there’s no work involved.
Marlon kindly gave me full access to the Info-Product Dashboard. It’s everything he says it is.
It’s designed for busy people who want clear, simple instructions with absolutely no fluff.
You can use Marlon’s system to create audio reports, videos, CDs, ebooks, PDF reports… The choice is yours, but most of the emphasis is on fast methods of creating a product, such as interviewing experts.
Marlon knows that many people who start businesses do so on a shoestring and get by at first mainly by being resourceful. So he’s done a lot of research to identify the cheapest possible way – such as free software – to complete each step. He works with you to keep costs to the absolute minimum.
One of the big advantages of following Marlon’s process is that he helps you avoid making a lot of really serious mistakes.
The system is written for beginners, although he includes a few sections for advanced marketers.
The concepts involved are advanced. This isn’t merely about creating an ebook. It’s about creating a product that is part of an advanced business strategy.
If you’d love to have your own product, but don’t know where to start, don’t worry. Marlon helps you all the way. Included is a special report, “How to Find Your Target Market When you Don’t Know Where to Begin”. (You’ll find it in Step 2.)
This special report isn’t just about finding your target market, it’s also a wake-up call in which Marlon explains what could be your biggest problem. There are gems in there – brilliant insights – which could well change your thinking in a big way.
Perhaps you’ve always wanted to have your own ebook, or perhaps you even started writing one and abandoned it? Marlon’s system will help you rescue that project.
Would you love to have affiliates promoting YOUR product?
Now’s the time to start…
Here’s the “Do this, then do this” way to create your own product…

“My first few products weren’t successes. In most anything worthy of pursuing in life, success is first met with non success.” – Marlon Sanders.
