1. Would you like dozens of websites?

Where have all the gurus gone? Why are they so quiet?
You may have heard that many of the gurus are quietly churning out dozens or even hundreds of small websites.
These gurus believe that it’s easier to make $1 or $5 a day or more from 100 websites than it is to make $100 or $500 a day from ONE site.
They use a semi-automated process.
The revenue comes mainly from AdSense.
No, we’re not talking about TE or similar auto-page generators, which Google loves to hate.
We’re not talking about directory generators.
What we’re talking about is a system which uses a combination of tools to speed up all the following steps…
finding an untapped niche
creating unique pages very fast
publishing a professional looking website
getting links to it
…and then quickly moving on to create your next site.
Neil Shearing has let the cat out of the bag, describing the process step-by-step in his new ebook, Auto Income Secrets!
His book is crammed with easy to understand screenshots so that even a novice can follow the steps he describes.
You may be wondering how you can possibly get traffic to dozens or hundreds of small sites.
The “trick”, which Neil explains, is to identify large numbers of phrases which have a fairly low demand but also have no competition or very low competition.
So we’re talking about ending up with LOTS of pages. That’s why you need tools to semi-automate and speed up the process.
Each of your pages receives little traffic. However, in total, the traffic is impressive – and so is the AdSense revenue.
One thing that bothers me about Neil’s book is that it could be very dangerous in the wrong hands.
The tools he describes have push-button automation features that have a huge capacity for misuse.
So if you’re an unethical twit, please don’t buy this book.
But, hey, only smart, ethical people read this newsletter, right?
I have one criticism of the book.
Neil is describing a process which works very nicely right now – today.
I’d like to have seen him put more emphasis on producing sites which will generate revenue long term.
I’m sure you’re smart enough to figure out that you can adapt the process Neil describes.
You can use the automated features of the software he describes to create very bad or very good sites. It’s your choice.
You can use these tools to create genuinely useful, interesting content. The more you do to add value to the Internet, the more chance you’ll have that your sites will still be generating useful revenue years from now.

3. What we’re doing
====================
People often ask me about our life and what we’re doing. Here’s a glimpse…
For a few months, Joanna and I are renting an apartment at Coolangatta, at the quiet end of Australia’s hectic Gold Coast.
To anyone who likes beaches, it’s a magical spot.

At sunset we enjoy strolling around that small hill you can see in the distance.
Because of the way the coast curves, this is one of those rare spots on the east coast where you can look across water to watch the sun setting on the land.
We’re staying just across the road from Duranbah, or D’bah as the locals call it, one of the most popular and challenging surfing spots in Australia.
The new member of our team, Jay Stockwell, a keen surfer, lives in this area, and we’re here to work with him for a while.
Well, that’s our excuse for staying in this magical spot, and we’re sticking to it.
