Associate Programs Newsletter #495
The world around me is coming undone at the moment. Massive floods are tearing thru the heart of Australia and the water just keeps coming. It’s like nothing we’ve seen before and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight.
Whole towns are disappearing along with all the crops, livestock and businesses. And, it’s going to be a long way back. How to do you rebuild a flooded area bigger than France and Germany combined?
If you have 5 minutes, spare a thought and a prayer for all those people. I know that it would be appreciated. You can follow it all here: https://www.abc.net.au/news/qld/

1) A Squeaky Link Wheel Gets The Oil
The debate rages about them but what are link wheels and what purpose they serve? We all know link building is an essential part of getting better rankings and traffic but is there a more effective way than just sending the links to our main site?
A link wheel might be the answer. Google loves authority sites and this is one way to get a group of authority sites to link directly to you.
My question for you is, what is your experience with link wheels? Are they worth the effort?

2. My Week – A Very Testing Time
Aside from the floods, this week I have been testing out a range of link building services: from mass links to high PR links. Only time will tell which works best but the testing continues. Any one got some thoughts on pinging and whether it is worth it?
I’ve also been reviewing a Facebook course which I hope to review next week as well as a new offering from Daniel Tan, the author of SEOpressor.
I’ve just finished reading about 12 other IM courses and I’m starting to see some real correlation between them and why the methods work. Keyword research is very, very important. More than most people will ever realize. If you skip this step, you make your job of promotion much harder than it should be.
If you have any ideas, feedback or suggestions, please drop them to me via the contact form on the site

“All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.”
– Winston Churchill
