1. How AdSense is changing the Internet
=============================================
If you’re wondering why I’m writing about Google’s AdSense again,
here’s why…
AdSense’s impact on the Internet is going to be absolutely HUGE.
In tests I’m doing, I topped the $2,000 mark in AdSense earnings
a while back, and AdSense just keeps on generating revenue day
after day.
It’s a bit like that Internet marketing myth – a money machine
where you simply sit back and watch the money roll in.
I can’t imagine a simpler way to make money on the Internet.
For anyone who needs to catch up…
In brief, AdSense allows you to paste a bit of code into a web
page and get paid very well by a good company.
See “How to boost your AdSense revenue” –
https://www.associateprograms.com/articles/how-to-boost-your-adsense-revenue.html
Here’s my track record on picking trends on the Internet.
* I launched a directory of affiliate programs before most
people had even heard of them. https://www.associateprograms.com
* I launched the first directory of pay-per-click search
engines, back when there were only 11. There are now well over
500. https://www.PayPerClickSearchEngines.com
* I launched the first directory of lifetime commission and
residual income programs because I saw that’s what affiliates
want. https://www.LifetimeCommissions.com
You might be thinking those trends were easy to spot. Maybe they
were, but the important thing isn’t just spotting a trend, it’s
switching tactics to take advantage of it.
Are you taking advantage of the AdSense trend?
In fact it’s not just a trend – it’s going to be a tidal wave.
This conclusion is based on anecdotal evidence, on posts on
forums, and on emails from friends and subscribers.
All around the Internet, Internet marketers are thinking up ways
to take advantage of AdSense – and I reckon many of them are
making dreadful mistakes.
Here’s what I think is going to happen…
We’re going to see a gigantic explosion in the number of new web
sites that have been tossed together – some computer generated –
purely with the aim of building keyword-rich pages.
Many of these pages will be pure rubbish.
The owners won’t care as long as the sites attract visitors and
the pages generate income from AdSense.
The sad thing is that this technique will probably work well –
for a short time.
However, because of the looming gigantic increase in the number
of web pages, it’s going to become much more difficult to get
your pages ranked highly in search engines.
Google says today: “Searching 3,083,324,652 web pages.”
Watch that number soar over the next year.
Either that, or Google will simply stop counting pages it regards
as rubbish.
If you think search engine optimization is difficult now, I
reckon you’re in for a rude shock. It’s about to become even more
intensely competitive.
If you’re planning to jump on the AdSense bandwagon by building
mediocre little sites, I urge you to think again.
Even if you manage to get such sites accepted by AdSense,
remember that to generate useful income you need a LOT of
traffic.
If you build mediocre stuff, you have at least four factors
against you:
* Directories won’t give you a link.
* Good sites won’t link to you.
* Google will work overtime trying to find and downgrade such
sites.
* AdWords advertisers won’t want their ads on your pages, and
they’ll put pressure on Google to exclude such sites.
I predict that in the same way that Google now urges people to
report spam, it will urge AdWords advertisers to report second-
rate web sites.
Don’t build dumb pages while search engines are getting smarter.
Take a long-term view…
======================================================
2. The real winners from AdSense
======================================================
With any luck, AdSense will be around for years.
I reckon the real, long-term winners from AdSense are going to be
people who are taking the sort of steps I’m taking now…
* Research ways to add genuinely useful, information-rich pages
to existing sites – pages that are worthy of a link and don’t
risk ruining your reputation.
* Research niche topics so you can create useful, interesting
sites that other sites will be keen to link to.
If you do that, your pages will rise above the masses and you’ll
win in the end while the mediocre pages sink out of sight.
And your AdSense revenue will rise right along with those pages.
==============================================
3. How to avoid being rejected by AdSense
==============================================
One thing puzzling and frustrating many webmasters is that their
sites are being rejected by AdSense and they don’t know why.
Ken Evoy has come to your rescue by putting online a
comprehensive analysis of AdSense in which he gives pages of
helpful tips.
Included is a section explaining many different reasons why sites
are being rejected.
Make sure you read this before you design a site for AdSense.

4. Newbie asks: Affiliate programs or AdSense?
==================================
Here’s a question I received the other day:
“Your information on Google’s AdSense
has really got me excited.
“But it couldn’t have come at a more
confusing time for me. I’ve just been bitten
by the affiliate bug. After all this research,
I thought I was ready to launch my affiliate
business. That was until AdSense came along.
It does sound very enticing to build a site
and not worry about which affiliate product
to sell.
“I’d like your opinion on which way a newbie
should go. Affiliate programs? or AdSense? Why?”
My reply:
I recommend you do both – affiliate programs and AdSense.
Concentrate on AdSense first. That way, you’ll build a useful,
keyword-rich, information-rich site that human-organized
directories will love and list.
This is vitally important because getting listed in such
directories boosts your rankings in search engines – and you need
lots of search engine traffic to generate good revenue from
AdSense.
You want to be in as many of the following directories as
possible (you may not qualify for some):
https://www.yahoo.com
https://www.dmoz.org
https://zeal.com (non-commercial sites only)
https://www.about.com
https://www.gimpsy.com/
https://www.joeant.com/
https://www.goguides.org/
In fact, it’s a good idea to study those directories BEFORE you
build your site, so you know what sort of sites they list.
Get as many links as you can from high-quality, complementary
sites.
When you’ve been indexed by Google and are attracting useful
traffic, say 100 visitors a day, apply to AdSense.
After that, weave affiliate links into your copy where
appropriate. You’ll be able to earn money from both AdSense and
affiliate links.
Be grateful that you’re starting out at such an exciting time.
You may never get such a good opportunity again.
Also, be grateful that you don’t have to build a complex site.
Simple sites work best with AdSense.
Before you start, be sure to do careful keyword research.
To generate useful traffic and useful revenue, keyword research
is absolutely essential.
I describe six ways to do keyword research in this article:
“How to boost your AdSense revenue”
https://www.associateprograms.com/articles/how-to-boost-your-adsense-revenue.html
To succeed with AdSense, you’ll have to get really serious about
search engine optimization.
The guys at Planet Ocean are acknowledged authorities. They do
cutting-edge stuff, including some things that are a bit
controversial. They’re so serious they update their book every
month – https://www.associateprograms.com/planet .
If that seems too complicated for you, I strongly recommend you
use Site Build It! – https://www.associateprograms.com/buildit .
We use it and love it.
It’s absolutely superb for building simple sites that rank highly
in search engines – which is exactly what you need to succeed
with AdSense.
This really is a wonderful opportunity – for newbies or veterans.

6. Insider secrets to email marketing
=============================================
Being hugely successful with email marketing isn’t nearly as easy
as it was three or four years ago.
However, some people have figured out how to make it work.
One of the experts is Corey Rudl, who made $2.4 million from
email marketing alone last year.
In the last 30 days alone, he used email marketing to make
$213,705 and attract 41,409 new opt-in subscribers.
One of the reasons he’s an expert is because of the constant
testing he does. He can send test mail-outs to 10 or 15 email
lists, each consisting of 10,000 to 15,000 subscribers.
Imagine being in that position.
He can send test emails one afternoon and by the next morning
know which one produced the best response rate. Then he can take
the best result, modify it, and run MORE tests.
Wouldn’t you love to see the results of those tests? Wouldn’t you
love to see which headings achieve sales and which ones don’t?
Wouldn’t you love to see the results of his years of testing?
Now you can.
Corey has written “Insider Secrets to E-mail Marketing”, a 433-
page ebook revealing the formula he uses to make more $2 million
from email marketing each year.
I’m still reading it, but I’ve read enough to know that it’s
going to be a best-seller.
There’s far too much in it for me to describe here.

7. Joe Kumar’s ebook now even better value
===============================================
Joe Kumar’s awesome best-seller, “30 Days to Internet Marketing
Success”, is now even better than ever.
Volume 2 has arrived – at no extra cost.
“30 Days to Internet Marketing Success” was a huge success partly
because of the format Joe used, as I explained in my review.
In Volume 1, 28 big names in Internet marketing show you, step-
by-step, how to launch and run a successful Internet business.
Day 1, do this… Day 2, do this… Day 3, do this… and
so on, to Day 30.
In Volume 2, another 31 big name Internet marketers give
their step-by-step Internet business plans.
You simply choose the business plan that suits your style and get
started today. Day 1… to Day 30.
It’s a totally awesome book.
This is exactly what everyone starting out needs.
