Associate Programs Newsletter #513
Content is King.
This is a well publicized fact of search engine optimization. But what sort of content is king? Instant, computer generated content, skilfully crafted articles or regurgitated variations of another site's text?
Theoretically, any text could work for you to fill your site pages. The question is, “Do you want to put your name to it?”
Are you building an authority site that continues to produce an ongoing income or are you trying for that instant success that so many marketers refer to?
At AssociatePrograms.com we've always encouraged you to write quality, original content that improves the web but how do you do that when you don't think of yourself as a writer?
You use the formula below to get started.
1. Writing Better SEO Content for Your Affiliate Website
2. Thought for Today – Quality
3. Cool Site – Stock Photography
4. Next Week…
1) Writing Better SEO Content for Your Affiliate Website
Writing an article or page for your website that is both interesting and SEO friendly can seem like a hard task if you don't think of yourself as a writer but it doesn't have to be.
Incorporating the keyword research that you've done into your articles but keeping it readable for humans can be as simple as starting out with a writing formula.
Discover how I've expanded on on my article writing formula from last year to make it better for the search engines and for your website.
Remember, great content can increase trust and sales…
2) Thought for Today – Quality
“All things will be produced in superior quantity and quality, and with greater ease, when each man works at a single occupation in accordance with his natural gifts, and at the right moment, without meddling with anything else.” – Plato.
3) Cool Tool – Brilliant Stock Photography
When you need images for your affiliate sites, it is sometimes hard to find some that don't cost you anything. This site has some great, large sized images that are brilliant for banners, illustrations and ads.[UPDATE: Whoops! Link deleted. We probably shouldn't have recommended that site. Humble apologies.]
