1. Get more for your advertising dollar
=======================================
Brian Welch has made significant improvements to his Bizbot revenue sharing program. If you didn’t sign up at the launch a few months ago, now is the time for a second look.
Bizbot was paying 15% on the first level of its two-tier program and 10% on the second level. Brian has increased the commissions to a much more generous 25% and 15%. (There is also a 2 cent and 1 cent pay-per-click aspect.)
When the Bizbot program began the only thing being sold was banner advertising. Bizbot is now expanding its product line. The first addition is Brian’s new e-book “Get More For Your Advertising Dollar”. It costs only $17.95 (US).
“This is only the first in a long line of products and services that we will be adding to our site,” Brian says.
[UPDATE: Bizbot closed.]==================================
2. Brian reveals proven techniques
==================================
In “Get More For Your Advertising Dollar” Brian Welch describes the proven techniques he uses to make a “good living” on the Internet.
The information-packed book began as a series of articles for a course Brian gave away on his site. At the request of readers, he has greatly expanded the advice and turned it into a book.
“Stop wasting your money and start making a profit,” he says. “If you are already making a profit, this book will show you how to make an even bigger profit.”
For only $17.95, you will learn:
How to make your ads more effective and get more people to read them.
How to set up your web site so it will close the deal and keep them coming back for more. Your ad will get them there but it’s your web site that has to close the sale.
How to greatly improve the effectiveness of your banner.
How to turn an impulse buy into a lifetime customer.
How to get thousands of sites to link to you FREE.
How to increase your profit by 50% using your current customers.
How you can make serious money selling someone else’s product.
How to build a site that keeps people coming back over and over again.
How to build a base of loyal customers that will value your services and recommend them to others.
Learn the mistakes that most newcomers make and learn how to avoid them.
A resource section with a long list of excellent websites that will help your business succeed.
And much much more…

3. WorldWide SuperStore adds 60,000 products
============================================
Worldwide Superstore is growing fast.
It has added 60,000 “family friendly” products including books, audio tapes and videos to its selection of 55,000 computer items.
“The product line will continue to grow,” says Bret Garrett, founder of Worldwide Superstore.
To create a “family friendly kid safe” shopping mall, all computer software titles which may be considered “bad” for children have been removed.
Bret says Worldwide Superstore has also improved its affiliate program by listening to affiliates and giving them what they want, online reporting. Affiliates can now view traffic statistics, sales, returns, commissions, and payment history online.
There are requirements to participate in the Worldwide Superstore affiliate program:
1. You must have your own domain name.
2. Your web site must be receiving at least 200 unique visitors a day.
3. Your site must look professional.
4. Your site must not contain or link to objectionable content.
5. Your email address must not be provided by a free e-mail provider.
6. Your site must not be hosted by a free web site provider.
“Although this sounds strict, it is really in the best interest of affiliates,” Bret says.
“The idea is to make money by selling product. If everyone is an affiliate, then everyone would buy products from themselves, and nobody would make any money.”
Affiliates earn 4% of gross sales. The new automated sign-up form instantly creates a unique affiliate URL.

4. MagMall bigger, better, faster
=================================
MagMall.com, which now sells subscriptions to nearly 1,000 magazines, has relaunched a new faster version of its site. The redesign, on a faster server, includes a better search engine, and an enhanced back-end affiliate reporting system.
“Our new system is really amazing and gives each affiliate tremendous detail of the traffic through our site,” says Jason Ciment.
Your logo can now be shown on every page during a referred visit.

5. Handling Whoops! pages
=========================
Here’s another way of handling error pages.
JP Stones says that at What-next.com the 404.html page auto refreshes immediately to the home page.
“This is good because all errors come from old search engine pages – not internal – and visitors don’t even know there was a problem. Ta da!”
However, imagine what would happen if you DID make a mistake with an internal page…
Many thanks to everyone who sent me advice (sometimes conflicting!) on error pages and handling .shtml files. Feel free to continue the discussion on the Associate Programs Message Board.

6. More companies which get it right
====================================
I like the way Brian Welch is increasing his product line without making associates sign up again. As long as you belong to his program, you’ll benefit from sales of ANY product.
In contrast, if I send people to Marlon Sanders’ “The Amazing Formula” – https://www.associateprograms.com/amazing – I can earn commissions only on that one product.
“The Amazing Formula” is already at the top of my Top 10 best sellers, so perhaps I’m being greedy, but I can’t help wondering what my earnings would be if I was receiving, say, 10% commission on sales of all the other products which Marlon has.
The obvious aim of “The Amazing Formula” with its astounding 60% commission is to introduce customers to Marlon. I’d love a share of their future purchases . . .
Here are three examples of companies which I think are getting it right with their two-tier programs:
1. Thomas Harpointner’s Advanced Internet Solutions (AIS). When I originally promoted the AIS merchant services, the superb AIS tracking system showed me I was actually selling something I wasn’t promoting – the iLynk service. Hey! I found the customer. What does it matter what he buys? I’ve had good, steady sales of iLynk and the Secrets course ever since.
[UPDATE: This affiliate program has closed.]2. If you haven’t visited Corey Rudl’s Internet Marketing Center lately, it’s definitely time for another look. His “newsletter” has turned into a huge online book and he has added new products. My online stats show that I’m achieving sales of the e-mail management software Mailloop – although I haven’t been promoting it.

3. Ken Evoy. A guy who sells a brilliant book for only $17 (US) probably doesn’t want to be mentioned in the same breath as Corey Rudl, but Ken also is planning to sell a range of products and services and won’t make me sign up again for each new one. The huge difference here is that Ken also provides LIFETIME customers – and lifetime commissions.
