Are You STILL Wasting Time Blogging?

Associate Programs Newsletter #561

If you're wasting time doing ineffective blogging – writing blog posts but not attracting enough visitors, not gaining enough friends, and not making enough sales – I know someone who can help.

She has written the best course on social media marketing I've seen.

As the Internet has changed, I've gradually changed my mind about blogging and social media marketing.

When Facebook was launched nearly 10 years ago I ignored it. I was earning useful revenue from search engine traffic and didn't see any reason to alter what I was doing. Big mistake.

When Twitter came along, I couldn't see how it was important, either.

As for Pinterest and Google+ and so on… I must admit was a bit slow in appreciating their value.

I began changing my mind when I found out that Google was placing more importance on social media signals.

However, even then I was seeing only a small part of the whole picture.

Super affiliate Lynn Terry, who has written a brilliantly useful course on social media marketing, is seriously smart, and seriously good at earning a living online.

She sees the whole picture.

She knows there are excellent reasons for doing social media marketing…

  • The more places you appear where people can see you, the more chance you'll have of being recognized and attracting visitors and making sales.
  • People who recognize you and are familiar with you – people you've engaged with in social media – are MUCH more likely to open your emails, click on a link and buy something you recommend. (Read that sentence again. This is a key point.)
  • They're also more likely to “like”, share, tweet, re-tweet, and pin your stuff, recommending it to other people. So, done right, social media marketing has a wonderful snowballing effect.
  • People like buying from people they know, like and trust. When you're engaging with your potential customers – the right way – you don't need nearly as many of them before you generate useful revenue. Lynn shows you how to achieve this, in short blocks of time – only 15 to 30 minutes a day.

Lynn (pictured, LEFT), is truly superb at this stuff. Her new course on social media marketing is the best by far I've seen on social media.

If you have any lingering doubts about how effective social media marketing can be, her course will give you a wake-up call. It taught me quite a few things I didn't know.

Lynn has been working online for 16 years and blogging for 9 years. She's HAD to be successful to feed her family, because she's been a solo parent for the past 13 years.

She really does know what she's talking about. And she's very good at showing you exactly how she does it, with screenshots and specific examples.

Doing it her way, there's no hype or junk, no sneaky stuff.

With her book as your reference guide, you won't waste endless, unproductive hours. She provides action lists and checklists which show you what to do to keep on track.

For example, on page 16, Lynn shows you exactly how you can put yourself in front of a community of raving fans in your market. The example she shows took only a few seconds.

“No matter your niche or business model, imagine how beneficial it would be to walk into a room of ‘raving fans' and join in on their highly topical discussions. Social Media IS that room…” Lynn says.

But there are all sorts of subtle little details you need to get right.

Her course is a reference tool you'll refer to over and over again.

When you get the course, you also get access to her private Facebook group where she interacts with her customers and offers help. I made sure I signed up for this.

This isn't one of those disappointing, lightweight $7 products. It's a totally useful, 63-page course from a seriously successful super affiliate.

Even if you're already a whizz at social media marketing, I'd be utterly amazed if you already know all the useful tips that Lynn shares.

You'll be glad you got this

“View your life with KINDSIGHT. Stop beating yourself up about things from your past. Instead of slapping your forehead and asking, ‘What was I thinking,' breathe and ask yourself the kinder question, ‘What was I learning?'.” – author Karen Salmansohn.

There will always be too many people writing dull search engine optimised "content", and equally too many writing wonderful and articulate "articles" which will never by found or read by anyone. I guess the most successful bloggers are those who find a balance between these two extreme approaches.

When it comes to blogging it's tuff to find the right balance between interesting and dull. The thing one should do is be interested in it. If you don't care why should we care. I say start with the basics and have fun with it. Also the best advice I can give anyone is to keep up with it. You should post at least once a week.
