Associate Programs Newsletter #451
This week a friend of mind took a hit.
To say that he could have prevented it is a little harsh, but he definitely could have minimized the impact by putting a few simple strategies in place.
It's easy to think it will never happen to you, but how do you know?

1) A lesson you need to learn through my friend
=====================================
They say that to learn things vicariously (though others) can be almost as good as learning through our own experience.
I recommend you do that today.
Over the past few years, a friend of mine has built a significant business. One that has allowed him to open a factory, hire staff and provide a good life for his family.
However, even though he knew better, he didn't do what he knew he should have done.
After a rough turn of events, he's now trying to recover what he can to keep things going as normal.
When everything is going great the last thing we want to consider is, “What if?” However, I think there's a valuable lesson to be learned here.

Meet two of my favorite affiliate marketers. They're
probably a favorite with their bankers too, because they pull in
100's of thousands of dollars every year from affiliate
commissions!..
In fact, they regularly appear in the top ten list of super
affiliates.
And, now they've decided to release some of their most closely
guarded affiliate marketing tips so you can copy their success,

2) This might knock Perry Marshall off the podium?
=========================================================
As you would have learned from my friend in my blog post above, you need to work towards taking your business from being a child to a mature adult.
Eventually, if you are ever going to grow your business to a significant size, you must learn the art of buying advertising.
It's simply unavoidable.
The best way to start out is using Pay Per Click advertising.
Last month I was sent a Pay Per Click Guide to review from the guys who created Wordtracker, the benchmark for Keyword Research for the past 10 years or so.
I was really keen to see what they had come up with as everything they seem to produce is amazing.
I read it through and loved it.
I know it might upset a few, but I like it more than Perry Marshall's guide (which is the Bible for many!)
It really does help take people through the process to make it as painless as possible to go from “Zero to Hero” fairly quickly.
All while teaching best practices that will work for the long term.
I sent it around the staff at the office as another training reference. Mike Lowe (who supports a lot of the SpeedPPC users) came into my office and was singing its praises.
So I asked him to write a quick review for you guys.
Here's Mike's review:
