1. How to create, market and SELL your info product
Ken Evoy’s long-awaited second book
===================================================
When I was working as a sub-editor on a daily newspaper in Queensland, Australia, I was constantly frustrated in my dealings with the advertising manager. We couldn’t seem to communicate on the same wavelength.
You probably know the sort of guy. He would ignore deadlines, tell me only three-quarters of what I needed to know, and generally drive me crazy. Having to deal with him was one of the driving forces which persuaded me to become my own boss.
Then my wife, Joanna, showed me a book about personality types and suddenly I understood what was going wrong. This guy had grand ideas and vision, but he wasn’t a “details” man. He was brilliant at selling a concept to an advertiser, but careless when it came to following through.
In total contrast, the President of Goodbytes, Ken Evoy, IS a details guy – and he has vision, too.
His business philosophy is to “over-deliver”, to provide you with far more helpful, useful information than you could ever expect – and then throw in a swag of extra bonuses as well. And that’s exactly what he’s done with his second book.
This time Ken has teamed up with Monique Harris to write “Make Your Knowledge SELL! How to Sell Your Brain on the Net”.
At 1,143 information-packed pages, “Make Your Knowledge SELL!” is the ultimate how-to package for creating and selling info products. It’s a total system – from publishing to traffic- building to automating, no matter what your situation.
If you’ve ever had even a vague notion that one day you’ll write an e-book and sell it on the Net, “Make Your Knowledge SELL!” is the book for you – and me.
I’m sure you’ve figured out that info products are THE products to sell on the Net. They’re cheap to produce, cheap to distribute and there’s a never-ending demand for them.
I began planning an e-book late last year but didn’t get very far. There seemed to be just too much stuff to research, too many decisions to make, and never enough time.
However, when Ken sent me a preview copy of “Make Your Knowledge SELL!” it fired up my creative juices again. Having Ken and Monique tell you how to do it, step-by-step, makes it all so much easier and I’ve started work on it again.
Monique and Ken make everything easy. They help you with a heap of brainstorming tips – “idea igniters” – and a specific system of finding and using your creative spark, which everyone has. They help you conjure up a topic and title, give you tips to tell you how to write the e-book, tell you what software they recommend – and why – and then describe exactly how to market and sell your info product.
Monique, a college dropout, couldn’t hold a regular job for more than six months. Before her Internet career, she was a receptionist. She says she would be the first person to admit that she’s no expert or genius.
However, by her second year as an information publisher, she was bringing in nearly $150,000.
If she can do it, you can.
Monique teaches you how to analyze the competition and create an information product which is much, much better than those already out there. And, of course, that’s exactly what Ken and Monique have done with “Make Your Knowledge SELL!” It’s the Bible of how to create an info product and sell it.
Want a second opinion? You get that, too.
As a bonus they throw in Ken Silver’s 420-page book, “eBook Secrets. How to Create & Sell Your Own Profitable eBook on the Web Using Free and Nearly-free Programs”. Since 1998 Ken has been self-employed as a successful e-book publisher. In this book – newly updated for MYKS! – he describes how he does it.
Another bonus: You’re told 306 places to promote and sell your info products. Nowhere else in the world will you find such a complete resource for promoting and selling your info products.
There’s a whole lot more, including a 10-times-your-money-back guarantee but I’ll let Ken tell you all the details at
https://www.associateprograms.com/myks
[UPDATE: This ebook is now free.]Ken, of course, is the author of the widely acclaimed “Make Your Site SELL!”. He told me today that it has sold more than 20,000 copies. Yes, he knows how to sell.
Ken and Monique say there’s a book in everyone. EVERYONE knows something which has true value to others.
“Make Your Knowledge SELL!” shows you:
- How to pull it out of your brain
- How to publish it
- How to sell it on the Net.
. . . and make a very good living in the process.

2. Now you earn lifetime commissions on TWO products
====================================================
Remember when Ken Evoy launched what he called “The 5 Pillar Program” last year?
He boldly promised lifetime commissions from lifetime customers. Yes, he said, you won’t just earn a commission on the first sale – on “Make Your Site SELL!” – you’ll earn a commission on EVERYTHING that the customer ever buys.
One critic scoffed at Ken’s program, saying you needed to be a NASA scientist to understand the commission structure, and predicted that Ken wouldn’t produce a second product.
Ken’s payment rules ARE far more complex than some. They’re designed that way because he aims to have the fairest system possible.
He doesn’t just deliver, he OVER-delivers.
He doesn’t just have affiliates. He has a legion of enthusiastic fans.
He hasn’t merely produced a second product. He’s produced another outstanding product which is already winning rave reviews.
Last year before Ken launched his program, I spent many long hours talking with him and I became convinced that he was one of the good guys – that he would deliver all that he promised.
So I said in my newsletter: “If you join only one affiliate program this year, make sure it’s this one.”
I believe that even more strongly now.
Here’s why:
An outstanding product line. Every product is aimed at helping entrepreneurs and small businesses sell on the Net. Ken has set a deadline to produce ONE NEW PRODUCT A MONTH for the foreseeable future.
Generous commissions.
Lifetime commissions for referred customers.
That customer “belongs” to you forever.
Lifetime affiliate team under you.
You earn commissions on all THEIR sales.
Long-term protection. Limited number of affiliates. Ken now has 5,000 affiliates. You can guarantee he’ll keep his word and one day soon – like Net Detective – say: “No more.”
To those “five pillars”, Ken in fact has added a sixth – excellent education and support for affiliates. He offers by far the best support for affiliates on the Net: A 224-page FREE manual for affiliates, and a constant stream of detailed advice which really works, in THREE information-packed newsletters.
Here’s a great example of how Ken helps affiliates. He has just launched “The Affiliate Masters”, an intensive email course on becoming a high-earning affiliate champion.
Download the 10-day free course here:
I guarantee that you’ll refer to this course over and over again as you build (or rebuild) your affiliate business.
If you haven’t joined Ken’s program because you’ve been cautiously waiting to see if he delivers, rest assured. He does.
You don’t need to be a NASA scientist to figure that out.

3. Vstore hits 200,000 store mark
=================================
Vstore.com has added 100,000 storefronts, nearly doubling the number of stores in two months to 200,000. In January, Vstore.com received 1.6 million unique visits, according to PC Data. I hope most of those Vstore owners aren’t bitterly disappointed. Vstore is popular because it enables affiliates to build an online superstore in minutes – but if affiliates want to achieve decent sales, they’re still going to have to work hard to be different and to attract targeted traffic to their stores, using the sort of tips described in detail in “Right on the Money”
[UPDATE: Vstore has closed. This product is no longer available. For the latest resources I recommend see Affiliate Resources ]======================================
4. Long URL trick doesn’t work for all
======================================
The trouble with passing on tips about presenting material in newsletters is that e-mail software works in so many different ways.
Last week I published a tip that if long URLs in e-mail are enclosed in right-angled brackets – like this < > – most e-mail clients will retain the entire contents as a hyperlink.
However, I’ve been told the trick doesn’t work in Outlook Express or in Netscape 3. Oddly enough, it DOES work in my Eudora 4.0.1 but I’ve been told it doesn’t work in Eudora 4.02. And, of course, we won’t even mention the poor folk who use AOL.
Anyway, https://www.ClickZ.com, whose URLs I’ll often like to recommend, has at long last shortened its URLs. That, I reckon, is the best solution of them all.

5. Let’s hope Amazon doesn’t want enemies
=========================================
Amazon.com has patented affiliate programs technology which lets other websites send it customers in exchange for a commission, Associated Press reported.
The far-reaching patent covers nearly all aspects of Amazon’s affiliate program, including the process used to apply to become an affiliate, the technology used to link Amazon’s databases to the affiliate site, and the billing system.
Amazon could choose to license its patented affiliate system to websites that already use it, or could sue rival sites to get them to stop using it, according to one expert.
However, Amazon won’t say what its plans are.
There was a flurry of excitement last year when it was announced that LinkShare and Be Free had been awarded patents but then nothing further was heard.
Amazon.com has had a lot of time for a re-think since it applied for the patent in 1997. Let’s hope that Jeff Bezos wants to avoid making a lot of enemies.

6. Thank goodness for back-ups
==============================
My PC kept crashing while I was producing this newsletter, and I finished writing it on Joanna’s computer. Thanks goodness for back-ups – and wives. Well, one wife.
The best techie advice I could find reckons the only solution is to re-install Windows 98 and re-install all my other programs.
In my rush to get the newsletter done, I hope I managed to communicate the message that “Make Your Knowledge SELL!” really is something special. Don’t miss out on this gem.
P.S. This newsletter was written by a New Zealander in New Zealand – proud winner of the America’s Cup :-)
All the best.
Allan Gardyne.
