What is a reseller program?

A reseller program is a phrase sometimes used to describe an affiliate program. Strictly speaking, it's a bit different.
A reseller buys products in bulk and resells them, collecting the money from the customer.
In contrast, an affiliate does not handle the product and the money goes to the merchant, who pays the affiliate a commission.
Many web hosts have reseller programs.
