No, it's impossible to sell ebooks online. No one does.
Is that the answer you wanted?

Huh? Are you sure? There are hundreds of websites that do it! All I was asking was if it was possible to sell your own ebooks online or even do it free somewhere?
Did i say something bad? |

No, you didn't say anything bad. I just couldn't understand your question.

Millions of dollars are made every year by people selling ebooks.
One of the simplest ways to sell your own ebook is to pay a once-only fee of about $50 to ClickBank and get it listed there. ClickBank has a built-in affiliate system so affiliates will promote your book, ClickBank will collect the money and ClickBank will pay your affiliates commissions.
Another similar option is PayDotCom.com. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Post subject: Creating ebook..
|
|
|
I am thinking about creating ebook about
health concept that I got.
It is proven to help people as I am
the living proof..
Is there any guidelines about how to create
ebooks?
One more thing is that my english is not in
good form so I am afraid people will judge
the content of my ebook based on my writing.
I am sure this ebook will sell a lot if
people know the importance of the contents.
Now still in thinking process..
Need some help here.. _________________ Timothy Thomas

During the current economic crisis that we are facing, I believe selling ebooks, depending on the niche, will start to be particularly challenging.
Now is the time that a lot of people are cashing out and making tons of money selling ebooks to help people with their finances and anything related to money.
Good luck figuring out if you can sell you ebook online. _________________ Internet Marketing Guru / SEO Master

Hi... hope you don't mind me adding my 'two-cents'.
Having written two ebooks, my advice for software is the $7Secret, if you have your own website. It is a php system that allows you to set your ebooks up in a variety of ways. You will need MS-Word and a PDF printer... which is what creates the PDF files. There are free PDF printers available, just do a search. (Adobe Acrobat is the most well-known, but also the most expensive and not the only one.)
As to your English, there are really only two choices:
1. Hire an editor/proofreader to go over your work. Some are quite expensive, but if you look around, you can find reasonable rates, too.
2. Take a course in business writing or writing for the internet.

I see you are wanting to sell an ebook online.
The market has all sorts of people in it. All you need to do is find the ones who want what you ve got.
I have spent the money and got the books. Often disappointing...like a lot of printed books. A few good ideas and lots of padding. But every now and then you get one that you wont let go.
Make yours memorable. Engage the reader and motivate them to make a change. Drive traffic to your website to get more value. You dont want to sell one ebook you want to build a community hankering for more. Then you'll have a revenue stream. _________________ Suppliers, Printers, Embroiderers for teams at work and the community.

Glad I found this thread as I am also working on an eBook. Is anyone familiar with PushButtonEcovers?
I bought thid program recently and it came with some basic templates, but it looks like I need to create the graphic images.
The only graphic type programs I have on my computer are Paint and Microsoft Picture It.
These will probably work, but I don't know what size the graphics need to be for the front and side images. Does anyone have experience with this who might be able to give me some advice?
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks! _________________ guitar2tr

My thinking would be, is an ebook, free or otherwise, be effective now? Think of it, when was the last time you actually read a free ebook you got from some web site? Or more realistically, when was the last time you've actually took up an offer for a free ebook. _________________ Online Marketing Made Easy
