Does anyone know of a good article submission site(preferably located in the US) that will allow submissions in Spanish?
Thanks |

I just stumbled on this thread while browsing the forum today and wanted to add another article directory that is actively looking for article submissions.
The article directory is listed below:
http://www.associatedarticles.com
Associated Articles.com has tons of categories for you to submit to so that no matter what you write about your article can gain exposure.
All The Best,

Make sure that you post that article on your own site and make sure that it is has been indexed by google before submit it. If you don't Google may find it on the other site first and it will get credit for original content. If google finds it on your site second then you will end up with a duplicate content flag and that is not good.

Hi Everyone,
I have just now begun writing articles. I have seen the above information mentioned once before. Would someone be so kind as to go a bit further into detail about this?
Do you put this article on your site and wait till spidered than copy the same page and submit it as an article?
Also do you submit the same article to the different article sites?
I am a little confused about the article writing thing.
Thanks for your help. _________________ Linda

For Linda,
Google checks content to see if it is duplicated. So if it idexs a page of content on a artical submition site first then finds it later on your site then it assumes that your site just coppied the content. It will then put your page into what is called supplimental results. Meaning that your page will only get listed in the search engine if no other content matching the search is availble. Not a good place to be. So to in sure that you get credit for the artical you must post it first on your site and make sure that the page is indexed befor you submit it. |

Google likes natural links and progression. So if google sees hundreds of links showing up at one time they may not like it.
Some directories are better than others. Meaning that if a directory has been listed as a spammer then its not good to be associated with it. Its best to manually submit to directories and to submit to those that are human managed (google likes them more. I don't use the automated submit tools at all because i want to know who i am assoicating with.
If your link is next to a pron site link on one of these directories then you are associated with it.
Just my sugestion but just like any link that you get it should be a quality like or no link at all and the same goes for directories. |

Thanks for the great information. You brought up another question though.
How do we tell if a directory is considered a spammer? I sure don't want to do that.

I have heard of them but it was recommended that we manually submit our articles.
