Is article marketer down lately? They didn't distribute my recent articles even though they approved my articles and put them in the "Distribution to the Complete List".
I got this problem for almost 3 weeks, has anyone had the same problem with me?

Hi Cherri,
It is only a matter of time before they go under. They owe me $1070 in affiliate commissions going back to May-July 2007 and I know of a lot of people in the same boat as me.
Now I see they are not getting the articles distributed either. I switched over to SubmitYourArticle.com in August and have been very happy with them.

If you check the announcements at Article Marketer, you'll see an announcement that starts like this ... "The distribution servers at Article Marketer are undergoing a major upgrade. While this is going on, some of our normal processes are, well, not quite normal. Check below if you have questions about article distributions."

If this is the reason then thanks for bringing it to my attention. Over the last week they've been slow with my articles. I've had them pile up, but they are out now. Upgrading their servers I hope is a good thing. I got a lifetime membership when they were really cheap so I believe I've already got my money's worth.
I hope they don't go under

| Well, all I know is that the AM articles are indeed "flowing" again, and there was obviously a backlog !!! |

I hope they get things turned around, but I must say their customer service sucks. They do not treat their customers or affiliates well at all. How hard would it be to post an announcement where we could all see it. Or blast out an email. Evidently harder than it sounds.

At this point in time it is amazing how so many companies ignore the PR value of good customer service. In many cases, as jschuman pointed out, a simple email would give them many bonus points.

Thank you, Allan, for inviting us to answer this thread, and for not writing us off entirely.
Yes, the Article Marketer affiliate program ran into some trouble last year. If you are an affiliate with us, you likely received the link that explains the situation:

The good news is this:
** we have moved our system to a new affiliate platform
** we've brought on brand new staff
** we've given our staff a clear focus on customer service.

Yep, we sure are.
We did find some data was missed transferring from the old system to the new one for a couple of our affiliates. So if anyone out there has any questions about missing commissions, just shoot me an email and I will look into it for you.
