Post subject: ringtones affiliate programs, anyone doing this?

ok, so I signed up with mediaplazza, paid a few ads to see how it goes, but nothing happened. then I made a test order, ordered a logo using a code from my affiliate site, nothing happened again, the order never showed up in my affiliate control panel. they are considered one of the biggest in this industry. Is it still worth to waste time on ringtones as it it so easy to get all the stuff free, make your own ringtones online lately?
anyone doing this? Just want to know, as I just do not want to waste my time which I can monetize very easy with the usual stuff I work with.

I'd check out www.shoemoney.com . He's HUGE in the ringtone affiliate programs. He runs sites like www.nextpimp.com and other large ringtone affiliate sites.

The order could take a couple days to show up...they have to process the card and make sure the order goes through. Ringtones are a profitable industry...even though many people make their own today...there are still many people who don't know how and find it easier to have the tone sent to them. However, most of the profit being made in this industry is due to the companies not really making it clear that they will be charged to their cellphone. A lot of people don't realize they're being charged, they just pay their phone bill as usual, an increase in 10/month doesn't exactly set off any alarms. So they continue to pay and the ringtone companies continue to profit. This is slowly changing though, more and more carriers are making companies disclose what the consumer will be charged to reduce chargebacks and complaints on carriers bills.
