The preceding advice was right on. When you have a well optimized site, with quality content, the visitors will come...eventually, even just relying on organic traffic. If you write and submit articles to relevant sites, post comments on blogs, post in forums, list your site in directories...they all help.
Even if it's not generating traffic directly, if it's just getting a link or comment 'out there', it all helps. Word-of-mouth, newspaper ads, it depends on how much you want to do.
I knew one guy that put flyers on cars in Wal-Mart's parking lot!! Sounds crazy, but whatever works, I guess. He said it did, I dunno.
Step 1: Signup For Stumbleupon
Step 2: Use StumbleUpon Regularly
Step 3: Build Your Profile and Picture
Step 4: Build a Friend’s List
Step 5: Write High Quality Content
Step 6: Network With Other StumbleUpon Users
Step 7: Tells Others About Stumbleupon
Forums and backlinking with signatures is a good way . What I am currently debating is should I post around 10/20 posts in around 100 sites or 100/200 posts in 10 sites .. _________________ Fun games|Free Credit repair|Auto insurance|Add Url
I am also a newbie in this blogger world.
Right now I am trying to promote my blog
using forums, Friendster, joining
blogexplosion, offline way, exchange link,
chat, Trafficswarm and emails' signature.
I am in the process to add more ways. Let
us together make our blogs known throughout
the world.
I can't agree that forum gives less traffic.
It gives you goods hits, but important is quality traffics. If, you are doing “Work At Home Business” and you try to use forum related to Property investment or Government Political site, you can not get quality traffic at all.
Forum related to your products or website content would give you quality click and possible sales. _________________ Maak D
