Post subject: Clickbank question - Linking to order page
|
|
|
Hello,
Is there a way to link directly to clickbank's order page? I do not want to have to link to the merchant's home page because I want to have my own site and sales copy. Can it be done? |

I think it's possible, but even so I wouldn't do it without the consent of the merchant (and possibly Clickbank). People get funny about this sort of thing.
I'd say something like "I really like your product, but I'm keen to try my own sales letter. Would you rather I did X or Y? What is the best way for me to link directly to the order page?" Give them two options rather than a yes/no, and assume they will agree to what you are asking.
What ever they say, make sure the cookies are working properly.
Cheers,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

| Thanks Charlie. I already spoke to the merchant and her she isn't very internet savvy. She has no idea how to do something like that. She is fine with me creating my own site and sales copy. I just have to figure out how to link directly to the order page. Anyone have an email address for clickbank? |

Note that this is is an unofficial Url - it is not
listed at the ClickBank site, so it can be withdrawn at
any time (and was in fact removed for a period in
August 2002).
For full details and other solutions see Item 1.2
(Can your affiliates link directly to the order page ?)
at the ClickBank Guide FAQ

I've been using this type of link for well over a year and have better
results than using the hoplink. Except for a few days last year, this
link has been working fine for me. BUT, you MUST make sure you
have permission from the merchant before doing this. |
