This is a very helpful tool seojr. So this is like you submit the same content to various article directories? What about duplicate content? _________________ AffiliateCrew is your solution for full service affiliate program management. |

I just downloaded it myself yesterday. I will install it today and see how it works. Their Free Directory Submitter http://seojr.com/Directory_Submitter/directorysubmitter.html is awsome, I have used it for a while now.
I guess you can change the article a bit but I don't think it is necessary because you are submitting to Directories and not posting to your own website so you shouldn't be concerned about duplicate content on your website.
Correct me if I'm wrong on this.
You CAN use Article Submitter http://seojr.com/Article_Submitter/ to submit articles to your own article directory but then YES I would not submit same article You should edit it so it is not the same.
It is a good idea to make several different versions of the same article and still submit it to all directories.
Hope this helps. _________________ Download Free Article Submitter | Free Directory Submitter | Seo Tips, Google Optimization |

Isn't it that some entire sites get punished if Google detemines most of its material is of a duplicate nature.
Google duplicate content filter tries to determine the original source and may credit a reprinter rather than your site in the SERPs.
Regarding that tool, can you manually set it into your desired number of submissions in a day? _________________ AffiliateCrew is your solution for full service affiliate program management. |

Yes I did read about that somewhere, but if Google does punish websites with most of its material of a duplicate nature then I guess Article Directories that you are submitting your original content(articles) would have that duplicate content and Google would punish them, which kind of doesn't make sense because than all of the major Article Directories that writers are submitting to would be punished. I can see when people go and just steal (copy) content from other websites and paste it to their pages.
Now in the article submitter when you are creating an article and inserting article information there is a field for article url (and in the video it explains that field is if you have posted article on your website first) which would be ORIGINAL article url and I guess depends how often your pages are indexed by Google to determine that you are the Original owner of the article.
Maybe in that case you would upload the article to your site first and wait until it gets indexed by Google and then submit to Directories. Because by submitting to Directory you will get traffic (from high traffic Directories) and a One Way Link to your website and both are very beneficial.
Now I did read somewhere one strategy for submitting articles.
You write article #1 and put it on your website, than you re-write/edit that article to article #2 and #3. Than you submit articles #2 and #3 to Directories and link those articles back to article #1 that resides on your website and it's unique and ONLY ONE on the web-No duplicate content on your website at least. Of course all these articles are on the same subject.
In any case Article Submitter Software acts as a control panel in a way.
All Directories are in there and you can be taken to any Directory submit page with a single click. Keeps your username and password for the Directories that require account login. It displays Information about the Directories like Google PR, Alexa Rank, if HTML is allowed, if Login is Required and it shows which articles you have already submitted and the date submitted.
All your articles are there in drop down menu and what I started doing is I would submit one article to a few directories and than edit the article directly in the software and save it than submit to more Directories.
Leaving my Author and Bio Info and resource box with my links the same and not having to retype that info again.

Now it does not run on autopilot and submits your articles to all directories at once which I think is better leaving you the control of how, where and when the article is submitted.
That way you can (and probably should) submit maybe to a few Directories a day and make it look more natural to the Search engines (instead of your article being submitted to 100 Directories in 1 hour, I think that would look suspicious and would pull the red flag in Google) as well as the ability to edit the article if you need to before submitting it again.
So it is not FULLY Automated submitter which I believe is much better. It really is a Control Panel with quick access to the Directories and your articles and ability to submit articles much quicker.
I have only used this tool for about a week now and so far I like it, just to have list of directories is worth the effort of downloading and installing (the tool is actually FREE).
Now Directory Submitter I think is Awesome! It is Free as well and big difference is that when you are submitting websites there is no worry about duplicate content ( you are submitting your sites urls) so it really speeds up the submission (you don't have to type all the website info and url every time). And again you shouldn't submit to 100 Directories in 1 hour but a few a day to look more natural.
It also displays information about Directories (Google PR, Alexa Rank,..) and tracks what websites you have submitted already and when. You can insert unlimited number of websites for submission.
I hope this helps a bit, I'm not an expert but this is what I think and learned through my experiences as a webmaster. I might be wrong and if I am please correct me, I'm always ready to learn more.
If you go to the website you can watch videos on both tools how it works and stuff. The links are below in my signature.
