I have recently started importing Motorola Cell Phones and selling them on local auction sites.

I would really like to expand into selling them using Adwords etc.

Any tips and advice on how to maximise sales with minimal cost?

A mentor in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Promoting cell phones on Adwords is VERY competitive. You are going to need either very good profit margins, excellent ads... or both.

To be honest, this is something I'd never tackle myself (even though I do quite a bit on Adwords in other niches). If I had to do it, I'd contract a pro to do it for me.

That said, if you really fancy the DIY approach, do a search on here for "Perry Marshall" and "Andrew Goodman". They are two experts with excellent books. They have been discussed and compared in the past.

Hope this helps,
Charlie.

You might check out these guys:

http://www.affiliate-marketing-school.com/Forums/

These guys are very involved with using PPC to promote finance products.

It's not a school really, unless you agree to help them promote their selected products. They want you to become part of their system.

If you did agree to do that, you might learn quite a bit from them about Adwords and pay per click, which you could then apply to your own projects.

Some very large incomes being reported. I have no way to verify the numbers.

There is soooo much to learn about PPC advertising on Google and Yahoo. I think you should consider reading an ebook, as mentioned above. Beating Adwords is a good one, although you can get coaching and support at Wealthy Affilaite, plus some great Adwords tutorials and a good forum to go along with it...these guys will even log into your Adwords account for you and give you some pointers.
