Yes it does. Another angle that is working well for many people is have your blog be your website. Then when you post in it the traffic comes directly back to your post of blog home page. This is an easy way to build pages as all you have to know how to do is type. No html required!

I am using a Wordpress blog on my web host's servers as a website. It takes a lot of hassle out of setting it up, the site looks very professional and the themes work every time. It is quite simple to make it look more like a website but still get the advantages of regular blog updates.

Allan is one of the founders of affiliate marketing and has thousands of links back to his sites and this forum.
If here were to start a new I imagine he would blog a little. Even super affiliates like John Reese, Willie Crawford, Rosalind Gardner and others all blog.

Everyone is blogging today. Wordpress if you choose to. When I coach my offline peers in affiliate marketing, I tell them to get a blog.
For simplicity, they start with a blogger blog, but as soon as they get their hands on the whole thing, I tell them to switch to wordpress.
