Alan,

I am having trouble building my link popularity to get my website up to a PR6. Even with Value Exchange, most of the websites that contact me do not have a high PR to make it worthwhile.

I am looking for an affordable way to buy link popularity to get my website home page and 1st tier subpages to a PR6

Do you or anyon else on this board recommend an affordable software program or link building service to increase my link popularity fast.

Here's a site you could investigate - http://linkingmatters.com . I haven't hired them, but the articles on the site make a lot of sense.

I would like to suggest that you don't discount those links that have low/no pagerank. That is their current state but over time if they do things right their pagerank will rise, which will benefit you. I'd just suggest that you don't spend a lot of time on them, that's all.

In terms of a firm to hire, I'd suggest one that doesn't make their inventory publicly available. Some link building firms advertise the sites you can buy a link on. Now, since they advertise these sites you can be pretty sure that Google and the others have marked these sites, ensuring they transfer little (if any) pagerank.

I'd suggest a firm like Textlinkbrokers.com that doesn't advertise their inventory. There are others as well but I am familiar with them, they do good work.

In the long term, you will want to make your site so, that people WANT to link to it deliberately, so you will have their PR as a free present for you.

If you have built such a site, then THEY WILL COME...
