HI,
I have big questions concerning SBI...Is it for real? I mean it seems like a nice software, but when I wrote to them for answers, an advisor ,as they call them, answered me with a paste from help sites\file and a sale pitch for a special ending on Valentines day(2 months ago).
OK, so I try to return a question, but now my email is rejected by the server because, as I understand the daemon message, I'm not an authorized address for the advisor AOL account.
Ok! I know a lot of people are praising SBI, but so far I'm not impress of how my question was handle.
Since I know there's a lot of people here that like this software, and since I still have a feeling that SBI could be better ebiz introductory tool for me, I will ask the question here:
How do Search it and the other SBI brainstorm tools handles keywords and Keyphrases search for other languages?
I have used a couple of tools like overture that were returning 0 results as soon as I was asking for French words.I've tested with common words impossible to not have been used. For me, it's really important, since I want to be able to attract local traffic as much as world wide traffic.
But locally, there's a lot less competition for a lot of Keywords. But I'm unable to see the search stats.
Has anyone experienced with other language the SBI tools or any other tool.
Thank you, and I hope you'll be able to convince me that the bad experience with SBI support was not normal.

I hope you used the special email address at the end of the message which SiteSell President Ken Evoy provides so that you can let him know if you're not satisfied with any responses you receive.

I can't remember, sorry. Search It is free, so you can you test it yourself without buying anything.

In my experience, it's certainly not normal. Perhaps you got a brand new employee. I recommend you try again, using the online form, and also complain to Ken. He will want to know. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Thank you Allan,
Finally got an answer, seems like I will have to find a tool specific to my language.Seems like the email was rooted from the sitesell snmp to the aol account which was rejected and I received the mailer deamon error(strange). But I guess the sitesell account kept the email.
I told him about the Valentine special, and in the second email it wasn't there, so I guess he got the drift. I hope I can find such tool now.I thought those tools would search all tendencies no matter what is the language.
I mean what's the difference for the program, it can't see a difference between language if it's search in google...can't it? But...well I guess it does ,since I don't get result when using French words.
I'll be on the look out for those now. If anyone here knows multi language tools or how I could find one.

Hi LPR,
Sorry to read of what seems to be a poor response from SiteSell support. Like Allan I will say that this, in my experience, is not at all typical.
The biggest growth on the ?net is likely to be in non-English so SiteSell have said that they are indeed developing Brainstorming in multi-languages.
A temporary work around involving the use of the various language versions of Yahoo!(overture) was available but as you have found overture has unfortunately become unreliable of late.

Thank you for the answer Larry. I will not hold a grudge for what I think was an expediting response from the adviser. He came back with a personalized answer after I told him how I felt.
luckily for them and me, they have such a huge crowd cheering for them, that I do want to see it as a "Faux pas" more than anything else, and I understand advisers are SBI users wanting to share and help and not employees I think.
Still, I have found that adword search does give me a chance to specify language and country search, but it only gives me level of search and not really detailed numbers, but it's a start. I've been roaming the net for other tools.

If you are looking for languages other than English, you could try Keyword Discovery as well as Wordtracker. Both have free trial versions. You could see if they include non-English keywords. I believe that Keyword Discovery does.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for the info. I did try Wordtracker and it might help, what I also like is the daily membership. As for Keyword Discovery, I would wait till I have real money coming in before using such an expensive tool. Plus, I don't think I'd use it more than a couple of hours at a time.

It's been pointed out to me that there's extensive advice on foreign language keyword research and brainstorming in SBI HQ (for SBI users only). Look for the article: "How To Brainstorm Keywords From Other Languages Or Countries".
There's also detailed advice in the SBI forums. Do a search there for the post "How To Brainstorm Keywords Of Other Languages". You'll need to be an SBI user or a SiteSell affiliate to read the posts. _________________ Allan Gardyne
