I don't use the full Site Build It program, but have been using the free SearchIt feature. Here's my question - when searching for Supply Competition using the "Goolge Single Keyword Supply" feature, it enters the keyword into Google in quotation marks. But I think these results may be misleading. Entering "natural food" returns 1,090,000 web pages, while the same search term returns over 410,000,000 when entered without quotation marks.
This is a pretty big difference and I'm wondering how others best use this tool for keyword research.

When you enter a keyword phrase in quotes into an engine it will return the number of pages it has indexed with that exact phrase.
Entering a keyword phrase without quotes returns the number of pages it has indexed with those particular words somewhere on the page, not only when they are used together. In other words the page may have ?natural? in one place and ?food" in another ? the page not being about "natural food" and not optimized for it.
The results in quotes give a clearer indication of the amount of competition.
