What are the advantages of traditional advertising vs Internet advertising ? Which one is most effective?

Internet advertising has a wider reach, can be seen at different time zones, can be put on auto pilot, can be self managed anytime without calling the office but lacks permanence. When you close the page of a website, it is gone. You have to open again. Also you need internet to view it. It cannot be kept for reference.

What's best TV or Radio?
Print Media or Radio?
Bus signage or School Sports Sponsorship?

Your question has no meaning because all that matters is that you can find a target audience for your message in the medium at a price that turns the profit you need to turn. Both work fine.

There are few advantages of internet advertising over traditional advertising. Internet advertising is cheaper, huge and targeted. It has a lower entry-level fees and enables good conversion tracking but still I would suggest you learn the tips of online marketing. Depends on what you are advertising. I find that advertising a website, internet marketing is the best, but for advertising a local business, then most probably offline local advertising would be the best.

They can both be effective. However, if your business is only an internet site, you might have a hard time determining how effective your traditional advertising is because it is hard to track where the visitors are coming from. I've seen some advertisers put a unique landing page in their print ads and hope people type it into their browsers (e.g. "www.yourdomain.com/landingpage).

Well of course there are advantages and disadvantages
respectively.

With the traditional advertising, you can reach a wider range of target market and advertise your products and services more efficiently

With online advertising however, only with computers are your sole target audinece.
