Anyone fro here who can help me on how to promote my blog effectively? Is there any potential sites on where I can promote it to create more potential contacts?

I have tried couple of trafficprograms. I think http://www.linkreferral.com works at least somehow. It doesn't bring so much traffic, but it brings quite usefull traffic and some of them review my site, so at least they read my site
http://www.ts25.com bring quite lot visitors to my site, but I think almost all of them was quite useless because they wasn't intressed my page.
I am still looking better ways to promote my blog, but haven't figured out how to do it best.

- try to post every day to your blog and ping your posts
- take one day to submit your blog to all blog directories
- use social networking
- According to VIZU report "About two thirds report finding those blogs they read through other blogs",
for that reason it is better to select some related blogs and start reader archives then add valuable comments which will encourage people to click to your link and ask your visitors to add comment and to bookmark your blog if you have quality content.
- trackback can work
- join mybloglog
- add links to your blog.

If you sign up, put the voting link on your blog and be sure to vote for your own blog once a month. This makes sure that your blog appears in the Top 100 list on the site. [This isn't "cheating', it's per request of the site owner.]

I second the Authority Black Book recommended by the other Jeff. Also go to Technorati and claim your blog.
You can submit your blog to blog directories.
Add a Google sitemap for it, add your main page and your specific post pages to social bookmarking sites. Make sure you bookmark other sites besides your own or they will consider you to be spamming.
Get a free account and "Burn" your feed at FeedBurner.com
If you ping your blog manually find a service that pings your feed also. http://autopinger.com/
WordPress can be setup to do most of this with various options and plugins.

Yupz technorati is really useful.
Be sure to claim your blog at Technorati and include tags in your posts.
That will be useful in generating traffic from Technorati.

you need to do social bookmarking to help make your blog more popular. Go to somewhere like digg and put in a news article and the url you put in should be your blogs url. Also the key about being successful with blogs is to receive alot good backlinks. The Best way to get backlinks is to write articles and in the resource box put the url of your blog and tell people why they should visit. Try to give free information out on your blog or free tips. If you wrote an article that was relevant to your blog and in the resource box you told them they could get something free, you would have people running to your blog to check out the information.

Why not use your Twitter or Facebook? These two work well for me when I want to promote a website.
It's simple and free way to getting traffic.
