Hi

I am looking for a reliable host to host a forum with google adsense.
I will also like to be able to transfer my domain.

Thanks
Clive

Depends on the language your site is in... if you're doing .NET 2.0 with SQL 2K5, go with HostMySite.com. I use them for my sites and they have excellent support and are pretty reliable. If you are doing PHP try HostGator. Oh... and I actually heard Yahoo Small Business hosting is decent. They at least give you a lot of nice extras.

I think phpbb only requires mysql and php. Most hosts on the planet support this. So, then a question of do you need other services and/or performance?

If not, then gator or one of the regulars will do.

If so, be particular in your query.

It also depends on the resources that you'll need for it. Sometimes you'll need a VPS or dedicated server in your froum is very popular.

I totally agree, first of all anaylize your web site traffic and resources that your forum uses and then you can decide wether to go with shared , vps or dedicated server, noone would like sql database to be chmoded due to web server overload
