You might want to consider an ebook about eBay for power users, there must be a dozen of them at clickbank.

You can also use the page to build your list so that you can promote any affiliate program to that list. There's a guy who wrote an ebook called " The Silent Sales Machine Hiding On eBay " or something like that. He has a lot of affiliates linking to his ebook from their about-me pages and apparently he makes some good money this way. _________________

The items I sell on eBay are all over the place, so the affiliate product I want to promote, again, needs to be something that virtually anyone would have an interest in. |
Don't make the mistake of thinking there is a product everyone needs. This is one of the oldest and cruelest marketing traps.
If you think you are getting close, at least repackage the same product for different target niches. If you try and target everyone, you'll please no-one.
"eBay buyers" is rather a diverse group, but I have heard good things about "The Silent Sales Machine Hiding On eBay", too. Sorry I am no expert on auctions nor have I personal experience of the book.
Hope this helps,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

I am a ebay seller also. I bought the book The Silent Salesman On Ebay and have made some money with it. I only sell on ebay part time so I havent made a fortune with it but the potential is there.
You can check it out at this link. http://www.the-info-bay.com/silent.html
I hope this helps.

Keep in mind that eBay has anticipated that people will try to use the "About Me" page to generate non-eBay income and has written specific policies as to what is allowed on the About Me page.
Just like with the regular auction listings, there are too many About Me pages for eBay to have someone review them on a regular basis for policy violations, so they rely on other users to police things and report problems.
If someone reports a problem, eBay will investigate and shut it down if they determine it violates their policy.
I realize that a lot of people attempt to use the About Me page in ways that are in violation of their policies.
So make sure you first read and understand eBay's policy for the About Me page.
Then, should you decide what you want to do is in violation of that policy but you are going to do it anyway - just remember it could be reported and eliminated at any time. In other words, don't spend much time on it and don't get dependent on any income that may result.
FWIW, I've been selling on eBay for about 5 years. I've done some things on the About Me page to get an idea of how many people visit my About Me page. These were things not in violation of eBay's rules. Even though thousands of people visit my auctions every week, a very small percentage ever visit the About Me page.
