Post subject: Solution to No Credit Card. Experience with Visa Electron?
|
|
|
Hi! I've decided to repeat this ost in a new area because I merged it with another topic, which didn't gain any attention from others.
I do not have a credit card, and do not want to have a suplementary card from my parents. I've been looking at the Visa Electron and MasteCard Electronic, and wonder if I could use them online.
Although Visa's terms and conditions state that a Visa Electron holder is forbidden to use it online, but I received some news that some did do it, and it works. Any experience from you guys? |

If the terms say you can't, I wouldn't risk it as you could lose the card and any protection they may offer you.
Why not just open a checking account and get a Mastercard or Visa debit card? They are handled virtually everywhere like a standard credit card unless you tell the merchant differently.
Another alternative is to open a paypal account with money deposited into it and use that for online purchases.

No, I can't even get a PayPal account as well.
It's sad to hear that I can't use Visa Electron online, cos I've just applied one today.
But I will try that. |
