In order to find the right affiliate program, my suggestion is to find an affiliate program that SATISFIES the needs of the general population including yourself.
Again, IMO, a good affiliate program needs to appeal to a general audience and be UNIQUE that provides content to your website that you can't find anywhere else.
I've developed/promoted over 10 different affiliate programs in the past. The most recent program that I've got involved with is having great success because of its universal appeal. Here's the question it indirectly asks when you first hear the name of the website weightlossbuddy dot com.
Are you stultified with your weight loss goals? New Year's Resolution?
The word satisfy could apply to almost everything we do. Are you satisfied with your relationship with your significant other? Satisfied with your verbal grasp of the English language? Satisfied with your financial portfolio? Satisfied with your parenting skills, etc?
The genius behind "satisfy" must appeal to all. After all, we could all use a buddy when we need to research a successful affiliate program and support. Thank you Allan and Associate Programs for having a successful 2006. |

Satisfy is a great word, most likely people looking for an opportunity are not satisfied with the ones they've been presented with.
I think the truth satisfies, even if it not what most people would like to hear, and we all know affiliate programs are known for selling the sizzle....at times.
making money on the internet, and eventually residual income is sure to satisfy when it comes to affiliate programs!

Blah.
The money is in the TARGET market. Plain and simple. You find a problem, you satisfy the problem by offering a concise TARGETED solution to the audience that is so compelling they would feel remise at not taking advantage of.
If you have an HP972 you need a cartridge that fits and HP972. If you have a Motorolla XTV you need a headset that fits that exact model.
People buy when they find the SOLUTION to their exact problem the rest of the time they are just researching... right up until the point they give me their money for solving their problem.
