Post subject: Should we do 1 Tier or or 2 Tier?

I know I just porsted but have not gotten any response so i changed my post...
We are in the process of building an affiliate program for our products for cats and dogs. We have a new site which is almost complete. My question is should we design our affiliate program as a 1 Tier or 2 Tier? 1 Tier 20% comis.2 Tier 20% and 5% of referals sales. We will be doing comission for life...
We have fairly new products that are very unique... see them at the old site...www.vetrinex.com The new site is almost complete as i said. We have been selling them since 2005 directly to Veterinariansbut now want to expand and go directly to the consumer as well. The average time people have stayed so far on the program is 14 months... reordering everymonth...
So please give me some feed back as to If I should do a 1 Tier program or a 2 Tier Program. Comissions will be paid monthly and a min $200. Unless someone can tell me it should be different... Thanks for your input.. Greg |

Two-tier marketing can work very well in the Internet marketing field. I doubt if you'd get much benefit from a two-tier program with a non-Internet marketing program.
The exception would be if you happen to know someone who would be good at signing up affiliates in your industry. If you do, then a two-tier program would be a good idea. _________________ Allan Gardyne
