Hello again Kris.

What I am talking about is free anyway! |
Not quite sure that's relevant.
It's nothing against you or what you're saying, just an attempt to draw your attention to a thread that disusses the ground rules - how things have turned out, as much as anything formal.
Let's face it, this forum is pretty unique in a positive way.
Cheers,
Charlie.
P.S. Have a look at this post to Bill Nash (and the world)...

Yep, I agree that this is a positive forum.
I am glad I found it. Since I depend heavily on affiliates for the success of my program, I am hoping to get answers and insight about the mentality of the affiliate marketing providers (the ones that pay the commissions).
I must share with everyone this email I received from Wal-Mart affiliate program. I will paste in the last part of it:
Current Promotions:
Promotion Commission End Date
Hot Holiday Products 10% - 15% November 26th
97? Shipping on Toys 7% Mid-December
Photo Products 10% January 31
DVD Rentals $10 January 31
We want to hear from you! If you have any ideas of how you can drive more sales or any questions, please email us at: affiliates@walmart.com.

Note they say they want to hear from us about any ideas to drive more sales!
This is what I have a problem understanding! They will not give anyone the time of day! Out of 1300 merchants that I told about my program only 1 actually called and talked with me about it. They are excited and willing to participate.
Seems that these messages I receive are automatically generated and don?t mean much!
They actually do not seem like they want to help out at all. Through email chat back anf fourth with others they seem very paranoid about scams. Once I get them into the site and show them that it is so clean and honest that a NUN would do it, then all is well.
How to get their attention is what I need to learn. How do they expect automation to handle everything? There needs to be some human contact involved to be able to increase sales for them.
Anyway, I sure would like to better understand them from people who have been around!
Again, Thanks in advance to all that can help out. |
