Could $5 a day make you rich?
hell No, and that's why I was quite skeptical when I started reading Dennis Becker's new ebook - "Five Bucks A Day".
It reminded me of an ebook I bought a couple of years ago with a title something like "Double Your Way To A Million" - In theory it would work if you could double your profit each day starting at 5 cents, but only in theory.
Live on 5 Bucks A Day is not an ebook that teaches you anything about AdSense, affiliate marketing, listbuilding, blogging or internet marketing. Thats not a bad thing - after a few months newbie internet entrepreneurs probably have their harddisk filled with ebooks teaching these subjects - and they're still not making any money.
I recently participated in a couple of internet marketing surveys, and when I saw the results I realized - much to my surprise - that I was in the top 5% - I do earn some money from the internet. Not much, but I learned from these surveys that 95% earn zero or very little money from all their efforts.
You have all this information from various ebooks but nothing seems to work for 95% of internet entrepreneurs.
What's missing?
I've read Dennis Becker's ebook - "5 Bucks A Day" a couple of times and I was really surprised. It was like standing in the middle of the internet marketing wilderness and suddenly you could clearly see which way to go. This ebook describes an easy step-by-step guide on how to find your way in the wilderness - it's all about FOCUS and ACTION - a strategy that anyone can follow.The Guru Brad talks about in the ebook is so damn right is "no hocus pocus,just focus" than i came to realize that i was just not focusing enough.As a mather a fact you dont even have to buy this ebook stick with the one you already got stick with one guru and foucus no really focus.but if you really want to get motivated i suggest you get 5 bucks a day.5 bucks a day strategy got me really motivated and targeted. I did some research on what other internet marketers were saying about his ebook and here's some of the comments I found:

Live on 5 Bucks A Day turned out to be more than I expected. This ebook gave me an ah-ha experience - a real step-by-step strategy I will use to make more money from my internet business. I definitely think its a great book for newbies. I purchased it.
Why is it great? It really breaks down the barriers of information overload. Most of the time, newbies get caught up in every single new launch, product or membership that is on the market. They never make a move, because there are so many moves they COULD make, but don't.
$5 a day, guides you to making $5 a day, over and over and over. It's a very simple strategy, that can be duplicated until you have enough to buy your island or dream car. I got a refund for it because it doesn't tell you how to make $5 a day at all. The central theme is avoid distractions, then go make $5 a day. Only problem is he doesn't tell you HOW to make that $5, he just says go do it.

Hi, all, I'm the 5 buck guy that wrote the eBook, and I appreciate the positive reviews.
As far as not telling how to make $5 a day in specific ways, no I don't teach that. There are hundreds of different ways to make income, and there are thousands of courses you can learn from.
asdfgh: My goal was to teach people how to develop the habits to fully maximize their existing marketing skills, whether online or offline, in ways that will incrementally cause increases in your daily income. I think the honest testimonials and low refund rate on the eBook shows that I did a decent job of that. Your critique of the contents of the report is really unfair. It wouldn't take that many pages to tell you to avoid distractions, even if I fluffed up the report. I provide a multi-step action plan to increase your income, but can't force you to take the simple steps.
And actually, one of the bonuses offered does tell you how to make 5 bucks a day and more.

I can see where there is a need for this type of ebook. Most of the 95% who aren't making it just lack discipline to persist. If you want hundreds of unbiased, consumer reviews on internet marketing products, Dave Vallieres has put up a site called ratingshub that has no ads, no affiliate links, and no links at all even to the website of the product.....
Thats really unusual and refreshing!

Yep, the concept in '5 bucks a day' is mainly about focusing on your action.
Check with any successful business people, online or offline, the one crucial key to their success is FOCUS.
Honestly, no matter how one knows of this 'FOCUS' word, they tend to lack discipline and lose focus when they first started out.
This '5 bucks a day' ebook will hold you back for some thoughts and lead you to the light.
Rookie or those who are still knocking around to make good money will need this ebook. Of course, you may not necessarily need this stuff if you're confident of keeping your focus up, but how many are capable of that?

5 Bucks A Day isn't a bad ebook, but like asdfgh said, its about avoiding distractions. Its much better for the seasoned internet marketer who has lost his or her focus, rather than a newbie's guide for internet marketers. I think it is more to motivate people than anything. Kinda like the old theory about saving your change and putting it in a cd or money market account so you earn money over time. I don't want to come across as too blunt, but... could it be that the fundamentals are missing?
I often see discussions here about "the best ways to make money" but very little on:
Usability
- the best ways to make site structure more navigable
- the best ways to make pages more usable
- the best ways to make pages download faster
- the best ways to make mark-up cross-platform compatible
- the best ways to make pages more accessible
Traffic
- the best ways to get more repeat traffic
- the best ways to get your site virally promoted
- the best strategies to create "link-bait"
- the best social marketing techniques
- the best SEO on-page techniques
- the best SEO off-page techniques
Conversions
- the best ways to write better converting copy
- the best ways to create "sticky content"
- the best ways to increase the quality of your traffic
etc. etc.
Worrying how to make money when you have written pages which display badly on platform X or browser Y, when you haven't got any reliable traffic sources and when your copy drives people away so they never visit twice is pretty much a case of re-arranging deckchairs on the Titanic.
How to make money should be practically the last thing you worry about.
Getting huge volumes of quality traffic to come and visit your site, fall in love with it and then visit time and time again, encouraging their friends to do the same is a much harder nut to crack.
If you can do the above, then, to be perfectly honest, $500 a day is going to look easy, never mind $5.
