Anyone using adsense & rss? here's my problem: One of my blogs is an rss feed from another site. If I add adsense there's no text for google to associate with, so the ad kinda just defaults to something about blogging and not what the page content is about. any ideas on how to use keywords to make the ad about the page content?

fahren,

If you are using a javascript based RSS feed on your blog its not going to work. AdSense ignores all javascript on the page and that's why it doesn't display relevant ads.

Yes Chris is right; if you use JavaScript to Re-Syndicate RSS feeds on your blog AdSense cannot see it. You have to use PHP, ASP or any other server side scripting language to include the feeds content in your site to make it available for AdSense.

We have a tool which can help you out in this regards. It's called RapidFeeds MySite ( http://www.rapidfeeds.com ) which allows you to display any RSS or Atom feed on your site using any of the languages (PHP, ASP, JavaScript and IFrames).

But if you don't have access to any of the server side scripting languages then you can use IFrames.

Cheers.
