As far as namesqueeze software, I just use frontpage. Nothing fancy. I have one template created and then just edit it in frontpage depending on the Niche I'm promoting.
The autoresponder is aweber. You'll find a lot of IM folks using aweber. They have good deliverability rates.

The squeeze page is (and should be) a very simple HTML page. You can even write it up in Notepad. I use Dreamweaver.
Yes, Aweber is what I recommend as well. You can even setup your name squeeze to have several fields on the "in line" form on the main page (such as full name, email, phone)... but then have an exit pop up that offers access for just an email address.
I just switched from IntelliContact. Their backoffice loads a little too slowly and their subscription costs can really climb up there once you cross a few thousand subscribers. |

| Hi, my name is John and I am new to this site and the world of affiliate marketing. If anyone knows how to write the HTML code for creating a squeeze page I would be most grateful in receiving a template. Thanks and Regards. John |

You will find the code for your squeeze page in your Autoresponder.
Which one are you using?

Abou Talhah, Many thanks for your prompt reply. I am not using any auto responders just yet. Is there one in particular that you would recommend for someone starting out?
Thanks and Regards

Both Aweber and getResponse are good. I give Aweber an edge for user interface and customer service reasons.
There is no real mystery to Squeeze or Opt-in pages. In your favorite HTML editor - get a free one like the one in Mozilla Suite if you don't have a paid one - open a new page and make a table. Set the table to a fixed width, like say 750 pixels. Put the essentials inside the table.
The essentials are headline, bullet points, subscriber bonus if used, call to action, subscribe form from your autoresponder service, spam disclaimer.
Opinions differ on this, but my conversion tells me not to give my traffic another way out.
Add audio and graphics to your optin page if you want but only after you have run 100 or so people through the page first. Aweber will let you track the optin form conversion in your control panel. You'll have a basis for comparison.
When you make changes, change one thing, and one thing only. Using the same traffic source, see what happens to conversion. Different traffic sources will convert differently.
Test, tweak, rinse, repeat.
Here's something I don't see many do. Use an exit pop of a dramatically different style from your squeeze page. On one site I have a text based squeeze page and a graphics heavy pop. On average the pop increases sign ups 50%.

There are a lot of name squeeze "generators" out there now. These are just simple software programs that will create a nice looking squeeze page for you.
They are not necessary in my opinion, I use XsitePro and it works good for me.
To create a squeeze page, you just need a good headline, a nice picture of whatever you're offering or a picture of your ezine, bullet points and your web form.
Keep it simple, if you make a long sales letter or complicate things you will drop your conversion rate.
Also keep in mind that many people run their machines on a 800x600 window. If you can fit your whole squeeze page into that size it will help.
Good luck,
