Post subject: Alternative to SBI!
|
|
|
Hi,
I recently quit SBI! after one year of membership. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the renewal and my niche turned out to be too small for decent returns. I guess I want to try some of the Martell methods which seem similar but he also promotes hiring third party writers and building multiple sites.
For this task I need a good web editor that saves me time and money.
Does Xsitepro seem like a good deal? Is there anything inexpensive out there that I could use? I know how to use Dreamweaver and Frontpage but I want something working from templates that I can modify so a new mini-site can be up and running in a matter of weeks. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help,
Peter |

Hi Peter,
If you are comfortable using Dreamweaver and Frontpage there is a plethora of free web templates available for both editors.
If you have a web host that supports Cpanel with Fantastico you will then have the ability to add forums, blogs and e-commerce online shop very easily with automatic installation.
The cost for all this power is ?25 a year and that includes the domain name.
There is no substitue for hard graft. I have looked for the holy grail of an automatic web buiding money making machine but have never even come close to finding one, despite all the promises that some packages make.
Hope this helps, and don't give up......

Hi,
One thing that many people point out with the difference between Xsitepro and SBI is that with Xsitepro once you've paid for it you can build countless websites with it. Where as with SBI you can only build one website per purchase.
So if money is a factor for you then Xsitepro may be the thing for you. I have heard equally good things from people who use both.
Perhaps other people can add to this comparison as well.
Regards,
Sunshine

Just remember... XSitePro isn't a competitor to everything SBI offers.
That being said... XSitePro is a pretty good way to crank out lots of websites.
Or, you can use something like WordPress to make lots of websites pretty easily too. WP isn't just for "blogs". _________________ Eric D. Burdo
