Well, this has been going on forever. The issue is for the actual casino sites, not the casino portals or affiliates. I would say about 98% of all casino sites are already hosted overseas. Anyway... the ruling is ridiculous. The US gov allows land-based casinos to flourish and try to sniper online casinos, which just makes no sense. The gov probably doesn't get a cut of the casino profits from taxes and thus are creating an issue. Oh well. People don't really use their credit cards for online play these days anyway.

This topic seems to come up and is debated by congress every year and they have yet to do anything and I doubt they will this time.
