It's OK to use AdSense ads on Squidoo. Have a look at the example sites. You can see AdSense ads on them.

One disadvantage is that you don't have your own memorable domain name.

I've been wading through the long Squidoo FAQ. You earn only SOME of the income generated from AdSense or affiliate links on your Squidoo page.

It's free web hosting, and you're allowed to create as many Squidoo pages as you like - hundreds if you wish. There are interesting possibilities.

Here's the FAQ:
http://www.squidoo.com/pages/faq

The ranking system rewards people who make frequent updates to their pages, and rewards people whose sites are recommended. Here's an explanation: http://www.squidoo.com/blog/?p=78

If the Squidoo system becomes very popular and if you make frequent updates, it might be possible to generate revenue.

You could do a lot of work, though, and then not receive all the revenue the page creates.

We've been looking at the same page too Allan. But as I understand it Squidoo doesn't allow any one to place their own adsense ads, instead they will give you part of their earning as royalty!

I have been working on my lens there for almost 5 months now You can just magine me working on my lens there everyday, 6 days a week, 3 hours a dayyet until now my commission account says $0.00. To think that my shopping lens generates a very significant traffic. Crying or Very sad
