I was accepted as an affiliate by ClickBank and I have a few questions I hope someone can answer.

Is anyone else an affiliate?

Can you point me to a web site where I can see what ClickBank ads look like?

Do you use ProSense to make your ClickBank program more efficient?

What can you tell me about this company - good or bad?

Thank you,

Waln

Many thousands of affiliates use ClickBank. It pays reliably and promptly.
Some of the products are very good, some are mediocre and some are junk.

ClickBank links on affiliate sites vary hugely because you are allowed to be innovative and create your own material. For example, the bold red type in the top right-hand corner of this page today with a blue link under it is a promotion for a product which is sold through ClickBank.

A bright colorful banner ad or a text ad which looks something like an AdSense ad, or a simple link in an article... they could all be ClickBank affiliate ads. One of the links in the newsletter I published yesterday was a link to ClickBank tracked product.

Many people selling products through ClickBank don't bother providing assistance to their affiliates. Some do. Some provide tips, banners, ads, articles, etc.

Prosense is an option. I'm not using it. I prefer to carefully choose which products I create and write my own ads or reviews.

Allan,

Thanks once again. Whenever I have a question that needs answered, there you are with good information. I just have to figure out how to get the ClickBank stuff on my site. Today, I got the html for Kontera text ads up. All of this is quite heady for me, as I go through the learning curve. My site is finally optimized and I'm getting about 15,000 unique visitors per day. Just need to know how to put up the advertisments that will pay the costs of producing motr educational materials and services. Thanks again Allan. I'll' just address my questions to you from now on!!!

Sorry to be blunt, but if you do that, I might ignore them. I have to sleep some time.

We have many wonderful, helpful, friendly members here. I don't want to put them out of a "job". Smile

Allan,

I was just kidding. My post ws a round about compliment. You've been very helpful and I wanted to make special note of it. Don't worry, I'm not going to bug you. I spend a great part of my day answering emails from visitors to my site, and it gets pretty tiring at times. I understand what you're saying.

Hi to all,

I am an affiliate for clickbank also and sell two ebooks using my affiliate link. I have been a member of clickbank since 2003 and have found them to be very reliable and a genrally great source of products.

Now I just read the newletter I received in email the other day from Allan. It was excellent as always. smile... I folowed the link to the cbmall for the 15 powerful ways to earn money. I ended up also purchasing a 2006 Resale Package offered from Jeff Mulligan. I think it was any way, as I also got a thank you from another person thanking me for my purchase and how I came about hearing about the product. Well its a package of several great products for ebayers, webmasters any one working online.

Any way Im ramblin sorry, My question is, I do not know what to do with the resale package. It comes complete with a website, images, etc. I mean I know how to upload it all to my own server etc, but as for the selling of it and the distribution of it. Is there any one who knows of a good site where I can learn how to do this. I am not sure if I am allowed to sell these ebooks etc as an individual product mabe on my own site or ebay auction or what. I have read all the terms and legals, thats not the problem..
What is the very first step perhaps??? awwwwwwwww.... Question Total ignorance, and brain info over load. Any help would be helpful to me at this time. I am hoping I did not take on to much of a challange, but then again thats what makes internet markeitng fun for me. lol
Thank you so much for listening. I am just stumped. lol

I'm just starting to look into selling my own products online too and am trying to figure it all out... I have one that I just set up through Clickbank and I was wondering if anyone knows if I can sell more than one product through ClickBank, and if so, do I have to create a new account?

I have searched their FAQ and haven't found anything one this, I also emailed them this morning but haven't heard back yet.

You can sell up to 50 products using your same Clickbank account. However, you can only be listed in the Clickbank marketplace one product per account. So, if you want each product to be listed in the marketplace then you have to open a new account for each product. Otherwise, you can sell many products with one account.

Hi Waln Brown,

That is awesome that your site is getting about 15,000 unique visitors per day. How long did it take you to get to 15,000? and what would you say is the best optimizing strategy that you used for your site?

A quick little hint with promoting products off ClickBank or any merchant...make sure the offer is promoted towards a relevant audience. Don't get blinded by payouts, because as you've probably already noticed, many ClickBank products offer pretty generous payouts. And someone hit it right on the head in a previous reply...ClickBank has TONS of products...some great...some middle of the road...many, flat out garbage. So choose your products carefully...target them towards a relevant audience and don't give up too quickly. Success takes time.

Johnathan,

Thanks for your feedback. Actually, I'm doing quite well with ClickBank. They have many advertisers that fit our visitor profiles. I also went to Flux Ads to see what you may have, but, like so many affiliate companies, one has to sign up to learn whom you promote. I think this works against you.
