Allan,

Where did the "New Programs" section go? I can't seem to find it anywhere at the forum...

Geno,
There never was a "new" programs section.

The Promote your Programs sections were deleted.

Understood. That's the section that I meant, Wally. Thanks for explaining.

Will you be starting a paid section for that? Might be a good idea! Wink

No, Geno even though the thought is interesting.

The hassle isn't worth it.

Why not? Charge $50-100 per ad, payable via PayPal, and it will prove worth the setup headache. It will end up paying off all of your hosting and programming fees...

Yep, Geno, sounds promising.

And I'll bet they'd be a better quality ad!! I'll leave it to Allan to make THAT decision.

The ads will then definitely be of much better quality. However, you would then want to let people (thread starters) post more than once in a thread, calling for discussion, allowing merchants to respond to affilites' questions, concerns and suggestions...

Would you pay $50 to place an ad on this forum?

I made a couple of posts calling for opinions on our plans to dump the Free Ads. Not one person who was using that section commented.

Yes, if what I've mentioned above is allowed, as I would then be basically purchasing a thread and I would want to take a maximum out of it. I am sure any serious merchant/affiliate manager would do the same.
