Post subject: Adsense ads on pages with affiliate links to merchants?

When I first started to read about Adsense I seem to remember that Google would be unlikely to display Adsense ads on pages with affiliate links also displayed. Did I get this wrong? I seem to see lots of affiliate sites with both affiliate links and Adsense ads on the same page.
I currently run 3 fairly successful affiliate sites and would like to display Adsense ads on them. |

Yes, you can display both. What you cannot do is have text ads that mimic the look of Adsense ads, or have competing Adsense type ads on the same page.

Nor can you have AdSense ads on pages that only have affiliate links and no other content.
From the AdSense Program Policies:
