hello everyone .
what should be length of my blog . should it be 3-4 pages or i can even add 1000 pages to it ...
will adding more and more pages to my blog help me to get more traffic from search engines ..
what should be an ideal length of a blog ?

By length do you mean words n posts?
I personally follow no rule as such. If I have something to write.. I'll write it down.. no matter if its only 50 words or 1000...
Plus there are times when you need to just leave the blog.. You know you can't get traffic to it... bad judgement on your part.. So you should leave it.. There is one blog where I post often(almost on daily basis) as it brings me decent daily income.

but if you posts daily lets say you post 1 page daily so your blog length will be about 780 pages after 2 years .. so probably loading time for your blog will be huge ... also will search engines scan all 780 pages for keywords ?

thanks varun . following are my questions ,
1. what is word press ?
2. where is option which page should be visible or not in blogger . how to do it from blogger .,... how to define which page should be visible which should not be visible
3. if someone finds my archive file . lets say file written on 10 feb 2006 from search engine ... will he be able to reach to my blog . means is there link of main index blog page on archieve files ?

1. wordpress is also a blogging tool but much more sophisticated than blogger. YOu can customize the hell out of wordpress bloggers... but you need your own hosting account with mysql running...
2. Go to 'Change Settings' in Your Blog. Click on Formatting Tab. There You have Show : no| posts/day/
3. Yeah... If you ping with every post you make, then search engines knows about your files. Plus Blogs create Post page(1 page per post). This also helps. As far as link is concerned... Some blogger templates have them Some doesn't.. But You can always create link in templates..

ok Varun as you said i have made all changes and it worked fine for me . but 3 last questions as follows
1. do i have to submit each and every post in search engines or it will be automatically submitted .
2.is there any limit on number of posts that i can made in my blog ? or i can even post 100000 posts on same blog ? does blogger limit any hosting space etc .
3. are bloggers foreever or is there risk of google to terminate this service in future

It's better if you submit Ping after each post...
www.pingomatic.com this service pings about 15 services in one go.. after you post.. ping this service...
oh Yea do Not abuse Ping... Once or twice a day is more than enough..

I don't think there is any limit. But they won't allow you post more than 999 posts in a day...LoL

YUP... I lost my blog which Had pure content.. No PLR article, no free article.. I wrote that blog for last 2 yrs... It was gone without warning... i asked No reply..
