A suggestion for Allan (or more likely his staff):

I've decided to give Aweber a try, and wanted to buy via Allan's link so he would get the commission. I was able to find Allan's Aweber link from a search of his site via Google, so no problem in my case.

Maybe it would help to add one of those Google search boxes to the home page of this site? Did I miss it?

Hope this is helpful.

Phil

Phil, I think there are many others here than us that are so greatful for Allans help through the years that we want to use his affiliatecode for everything we buy. A least everything he has ever recomended.

Wouldn't it be good to have one page with all the programs recomended by AssociatePrograms.com so we could go through those links if we want to buy something.

Horseman, yes, there you go. I like that idea even better than mine. Nice and simple, you go to one page and there are all his reccomendations, all in one place.

Not sure if Allan has anyone working on his site now or not. I know he has an empire of employees hidden around here somewhere. Wink

If employees don't turn up this might even be a good group project for forum members? Sort of a way to say thanks for the forum?

Thanks for the kind thoughts, guys. That's really sweet, but unnecessary. I'll have to make revamping the site a project for next year, when I have a bit more energy.

An empire? Yeah, right.

The only person working on the AssociatePrograms.com site these days is Glennys, who has been keeping the affiliate directory up to date for years.

Nathan works full-time on PayPerClickSearchEngines.com, Rupert answers email and builds other sites, and Ros is busy building a huge SBI site full of expensive keywords, aimed almost entirely at AdSense. Chris has just finished his computer programming exams and has just acquired a summer job as a research assistant for a university. Joanna is far too busy fending off phone calls from friends and family to learn HTML, even if she wanted to. Whoops, I mustn't forget Wally, for moderates this forum! Only Nathan and Ros are full-timers. Not exactly an empire Wink

Phil, from time to time I've thought about adding a Google search box.
I wouldn't want people to confuse it with the search box that searches the affiliate directory. (Some people ARE confused by that. They expect it to search the whole site.)

Also, I wonder how many people need it?

It's so easy to use the Google Toolbar, type in a search phrase and click on "Search Site". That's what I always do if I want to search a site.
