I'am not clear on your question, but i believe that u want people to post as a topic and it should appear in a blog. In blogger dasboard, u have the last column called "members"; here u can invite members thru' email, after thay accept ur invite, they can post articles which appear on the blog. If u really into monetizing i suggest u look at other alternatives.

For ex, u can purchase a domain name for about $8, it gives u more respect than having ur blog for free on blogger. In terms of functionality, blogger offers very less to the aaspiring internet marketer.

I suggest going in for webhosting and purchasing a domain name. Usually many webhosters give u a lot of blogs that u can install easily on the server , it offers u more flexiblity.

for the best functionality u can look at Content management systems(CMS) which give u all feature such as a blog, newsfeeds, forums, user polls ,newsletters all bundled into one package. In short , u get a complete dynamoc website... how u use it- depends on ur requirements,,,,Usually these CMSs come along with ur hosting package

these are some of the CMS and blog tools u may a look at, don't download them, most webhosts provide them, just take a look as to what u can do with them:

www.mamboserver.com ---- a complete CMS package.

www.joomla.org------another CMS

www.b2evolution.net----multiple blogging with categories

www.nucleuscms.org----blog

http://phpnuke.org/----a very famous CMS

If I understand your question right, its...

Can visitors add their views as a comment on your blog, after you post an article? And can the visitors update their posts like in forums?

If that's your question, yes you can.

An example would be posting an article, or a thought on a topic, and requesting your visitors to post their comments on your post. They can add another comment if they want/need to, but not edit their previous post - most blog owners probably don't have that function, or have that turned on.

Here's an example from my own blog:

(with 50+ comments)

& this one below with close to 20 comments:

Hope that makes sense of your question Wink

The best multi user blog that i can suggest is Nucleus CMS. Here you can include a invitational link for visitors to contribute to your blog. Once they register, you can assign them variuos rights such as only posting or admin rights. Another multi user blog tool is wordpress. Links to these are given in my earlier reply.
