My question is...if you have tried them have you had any success with them?
I mean I am getting a nice amount of hits...but I don't think anyone that uses this service actually looks at your site for anything other then earning credits for traffic for themselves?

What ways do you guys get traffic to your sites..other then adwords and such...Has anyone successfully maintained a high traffic site with just work and not paying a fortune to ppc search engines and such?

To answer a question with a question (or two)...

How targeted do you think the traffic is and are people actually clicking to see your page, or is it being "forced on them" via automated pop unders (say)?

See Planet Ocean for the DIY approach - also consider Michael Campbell, Sean Burns and James Martell.

I am sorry I did not even stop by the site long enough to read anything. As soon as I heard the voice forced in my ears I clicked back Very Happy

Seriously there are lot of people, and I think many of the most successful ones that get their traffic for free.

That is what SBI is all built up on

Get the hang on the search engines and you will get more focused, happier, more ready to buy visitors than from any other source.

And the best part is, it is free Wink

If you have the time, you can concentrate on developing high quality content that people will want to read and you'll start getting traffic without paying for advertising. Your web visitors will do all your advertising for you. Sites like payperclicksearchengines.com and others which concentrate on niche topics get most of their traffic from referrals. However most of us don't have the time to wait for traffic or to develop content so ppc advertising works for us in the meantime. If you want free traffic, you can write articles, participate in forums, provide free content, do joint ventures etc. It's a lot of work but it works.
