Take a look at what the successful marketers do.
Here's a couple of other suggestions that might work on me. Maybe it would work on others, too...
Resist the temptation to beg. Make me actually want your information. Perceived value? Free makes me suspicious, so does a trolley load of bonuses.
Even if your ezine is free, pretend it isn't. How would you convince me to buy your knowledge? At the risk of sounding a little simplistic, I'd say that if I don't think it's worth paying for, I won't want it at any price - even free. Without just saying something like "a year's subscription worth $197" how can you make your information sound worth something?
Hope this helps,

Something like - helps you to find the best bonuses which make you money etc? |
Slipping briefly back into the shoes of Larry's friend "Brutally Frank", I can't say those words exactly set my imagination on fire.
Perhaps one way of approaching this, is to visit the sign up pages for ezines you already subscribe to. If these approaches worked on you, they are more likely to be approaches you will be happy to use yourself. If these are also successful marketers, they should be excellent models.
Either way, considering the importance of regular email contact with your prospects over time, treat the ezine sign up page as the most important sales letter you haven't written yet. It's very much like a sales letter for a low price product aiming to penetrate the market for the promise of gold tomorrow.
All the best,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
