I'm new to all this and have set up several pages. One thing I want to do is to get web stat's. My host has number of hits etc - but what I really want to have is sta's on where my users are coming from (e.g. google, msn, from lonks on other pages - and which pages etc.) Is there any free way to do this?
thanks a million and I think this forum is amazing!

Hi Warwick
What you could use is the free google sitescript. It is new, free and pretty good. you can sign up here (and no, I am not an affiliate with google) http://www.google.com/analytics/
They give you a script which you put in the pages you which to track and then you can login to your account anytime to view the results. It will show you where the clicks are coming from. I hope that was helpful.
With Kind Regards
Leokadia

If you have access to your log files, you can use a log analyzer like awStats. It's free, and works very well.

It does take a bit to get it installed (not that difficult, but you need access to your site via FTP and prefrably shell).
