Hi people,

Everytime i plugin a list of keywords in Google adWords .. only between "" and [] ... i see huge prices. These keywords are all often multiple words together and not just 1 or two words?

It just seems impossible to find some keywords that have a nice price like $0.09 per click, they all start at 0.34 for me and rise like crazy ... even really long ones. Im not rich and at the moment can't afford to lose a lot of cash ... but i would love to play more with adWords.

How do all of you deal with this, and can you still find some of those cheaper words? Very Happy

best way is to mispell your keywords. you will be surprised how many people do this and you can get them for cheap

Youll get some more traffic with misspellings and not using spaces between words but not a lot.

Most of the popular keywords require higher bids. You can lower your bid if you use the content network.

Best way in MHO is to use phrases istead of 1 word.

Yess thats true, but the weird thing was that very often i setup a keyword like "blabla bala balbalba bla" and even such a long string would cost me about $0.34 to start ... this is what made me wonder if it would still be possible to get some keywords more cheaply Wink

I pay $.05 for my keywords.

I believe those prices are what Google "recommends" for maximum exposure, but you can always go lower.

What is the secret to this? I do well with Adwords (as far as getting sales), but I pay a good amount of money...anywhere from $0.65 to $1.03 per keyword. I find when I bid on the cheap side, I either get keywords that no one searches for or I am buried on page 2, 3, 4 or worse.

I was in the mortgage business and was doing great until click fraud came along. So instead of joining the multitude of people filing class action lawsuits, i started a new search engine. We are brand new. We will be coming out with some traffic building concept at the end of the first quarter, but it would sure be great to get the word out. If entrepreneurs can help get this out they will win.
I would appreciate some feedback on the site: [URL deleted - Moderator]

Thanks,

Primevector,

I pay 3 cents for my keywords, it takes some time to figure out how to find those keywords. Please do yourself a favour and check out the manuals by Andy Williams (KRAWT, see link below)

Remember, you want targeted clicks, not thousands of happy go lucky surfers. My last campaign converted one sale out of 40 clicks, total ad-cost was $3,60 for 120 clicks, commission was $65,40. A good ROI I would say.

Not all keywords can be bought cheap so you have to find a way to use "Around the corner keywords".
Do some investigation and most of all, BE PERSISTENT, Don't give up, don't give up.

Regards,

C.F.
