Hi,
Hopefully someone can help me.
I use frontpage (as I am new at all this).
For displaying say three photos - I set up a table (1 row, 3 columns) and place the photos is each. all looks good on my page - and also on the preview. But when published there is a gap at each end ie photos dont take up the whole table. I cant expend photos any more - and its a right pain!
please look at
www.studyspanishandsurf.com as a exmaple of the problem.

any ideas and help I would appricate heaps!

Warwick,
In TABLE - Properties of Table - Table/Cells

You can choose pixel or % width. Your problem is that table is probably at 100% and the cells can't fill it.

Leave the TABLE - specify width blank and it will fit the cells. Adjust cell padding/spacing so pictures have a nice gap between them.

Check CELL - specify width and leave it blank too. If you have a lot of text in the cell under the picture, it won't wrap at picture width unles you set the width. So, if your picture is 240 pixels wide, set the cell width at 240 pixels and the text will wrap neatly.

You may want to set TABLE - layout alignment as CENTRE if that is your preference - a narrow table on the left can be untidy.

If you intend a 120 pixels wide adsense column on the right, say, in a 800 pixel wide display, allow for all these pixel spacings with four columns of, say, 210, 210, 210, 120 and yoou might set your table width as 770 instead of blank.

They're the sort of fiddles you can do in TABLE - Properties of table, etc.
