Post subject: My experiments with Clickbank -- your thoughts?
|
|
|
Hi-- I'm a former librarian and love books and ebooks, so it's a natural for me to promote both. I do a little with Amazon, but Clickbank seems to me to offer better profit margins and the incentive of immediate download.
So recently I have been experimenting with Clickbank. My dog training website has links to a couple of ebooks and I will be adding more. Also, I have been poking around Clickbank and finding ebooks where I like their sales page and where Wordtracker indicates there is a reasonable amount of interest. (Many of the sales pages offer many distractions from buying, they need to read Ken Evoy on most wanted response!)
Then I have been placing carefully written Google Adwords. I've done this for just a few ebooks so far, and I am getting the clicks, with good conversion rates. BUT no sales so far...
I've also created a little website where I can write my own sales pages for products that I like, optimizing for a keyphrase. I don't expect that to do anything for a while on its own, but I do have a few adwords that point to those pages.
I'm curious about other people's experiences... _________________ Rosana

I'm still learning how my own affiliate program works. I wrote an ebook and became a vendor with Clickbank. I'm still in the experimentation stage of the whole process.
I read Ken Evoy's course and tried to make my sales page reflect this. Sales are doing beautifully, so far. I'm ecstatic.
I have had only four affiliates join so far - but all four have made at least one sale.
I publish an ezine fortnightly. This is where most of my sales come from. Usually within an hour of the ezine going out, I get a couple of new sales pop up.
I also send out articles for free reprint to other websites and ezines and include my sales page link at the foot of each of these.
I'm thinking I'll try the Google AdWords thing next and see if that works.
Sorry my experiments aren't as detailed as yours have been.

I like to see the results of any experiments - good or bad, so please keep posting.
Thanks,

Hi!
I promote a lot of Clickbank products with Google Adwords (all are affiliate products) and it works like charme. Targeting the right market with the right keywords is one of the keys. I cleary state in my ads the sales price and work with negative keywords so I KICK OUT the freebie seekers.
All the best
